Blue Star Donuts

The donuts are SOOO good here, actually worth the money! Quality donuts, they bake them well here, the homemade glazes are amazing and there's such unique flavors 😍 I wish I lived closer because I'd be here all the time. There's a large variety of donuts to try, some buttermilk, brioche, vegan, etc. My favorite is the orange olive oil donut and raspberry buttermilk donut, omggg. Also the apple fritter. Employees are really nice here and there's some seating inside too :) Highly recommend!!

This location gets five stars solely because of the staff. They are always happy friendly and fun to be around the donuts I would give a three star selection is a bit too eclectic but that’s what they’re going for so I won’t write them down on what they’re trying to do they usually have one product. I would be interested in having every once in a while, but the staff keeps this place nice neat and clean.

Yesterday, I came to Blue Star for the first time. Everyone goes to that "other place" because they have freaky concoctions, but the donuts at Blue Star are classic with vibrant flavors that melt in your mouth. Simply, it is the best I have ever had. Sandie and Sarah were so helpful and the best. They told me to try the tropical delight with coconut and the passion fruit donuts—both were my favorites. I love this place. Thank you, Sandie and Sarah. I will visit again when I am PDX.

Definitely recommend trying them out and eating it by the waterfront! We moved to the waterfront recently and have enjoyed getting donuts from Blue Star. My favorite from them for texture is the Buttermilk Old-Fashioned. The shell is crispy and the denseness of the cake donut makes it really tasty! They rotate flavors often and for me, I enjoy anything of theirs that's fruity, especially the passion fruit cocoa nib. The sour balances the sweet really well and it's a fluffy base. 4 stars because service is a bit inconsistent at times.

Better than Voodoo Donuts! My first time visiting and I was so happy to find out they have a location in Southern California too! The shop with clean and the staff was very friendly. I had the blueberry bourbon basil with coffee and house-made vanilla syrup and I was in Heaven! I wish I was able to try all the donuts, but there's always next time!

First off, I think you should know... I Love donuts. Like at the top of my favorite tasty treats list level of Love.So naturally I like to stop by new donut locations whenever I have the chance. There were only about ten different flavors they offered here. For as big as this building is, I was surprised they didn't take advantage of the space they had to work with. Without a doubt though, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I tried a Tropical Delight donut. It was one of the best donuts I've ever had. Need I remind you, I've tried allot of donuts. There were so many flavors packed into this one diamond donut bite and they were each delicious. It should also be noted that a handful of their donuts have alcohol in them, including an apple cider fritter situation. It was okay but something I probably won't be trying again. The dough was really dense and a bit dry. That tropical delight on the other hand is something I would drive miles out of my way to get another one of. Oh and a quick heads up, the two donuts cost me about $12...I know, but seriously try the tropical delight.

One of my favorite places to get donuts when you’re looking for something a little “extra”. These guys are definitely out of the box thinkers. You won’t find any plain chocolate or vanilla iced with sprinkles here. Instead, every donut has a unique flavor combination that is sure to set your tastebuds ablaze. From Crème Brûlée to Chocolate Almond Ganache, you’re definitely going to find something that makes you drool. And the donuts are huge too! Definitely big enough for two, at least in my opinion. My preference is to get a wide variety and then slice them into smaller sections so that everyone gets to try the different flavors for themselves. Bottom line, if you’ve never tried Blue Star, give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed. They may be a little on the more expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for.
