Best Italian food I've had in a long time! Arrived for a late evening dinner. Appetizer was the mushrooms, which were prepared perfectly. My wife, who doesn't like mushrooms, happened to love these. Drinks were super tasty as well. I forgot how much I liked Ameretto Sour. Well done! We ordered separate dishes, which they were kind enough to offer in half orders...left us room for desert. Both were absolutely fantastic! We were blown away. Wow. Deserts were equally fantastic. The cannoli was light and tasty. Very impressed. All the while the service was great. We don't see that a lot in Portland anymore. Bravo! We will be back to this restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Service excellent, food was good. Shared a bean salad that was a tad heavy, needed more veggies; pasta with chantarelles was very good, as was the peach clafoutis (just a tad to sweet..but that's me). Wine selection good, good atmosphere. Will come back.

Alright.. I kinda randomly chose this place. I had a really, really bad dinner in Little Italy in New York. So, my usual 6 month Italian craving was not satiated. (I tend to not do Italian, even when I'm in Italy) So, I open tabled this place, sight unseen, a few days before Christmas. Holy smokes, did I get lucky. The scallaps with Anise on Brussels sprouts... to die for. The wild boar ragu...mild, intricate mix of game, pasta, and sauce. A circus of flavors, so dense and delicate. I will admit, the Prosciutto + fig crustini was not my cup of tea. Far too sweet, but I can understand how someone could like the flavor. All in all, great place, with a beautiful space. Great service. A place I feel bad not exploring and want to come back too. (With a big appetite and pay day) Caveats: come with an appetite. My dieting, random butt walked in and was done before a main course. Expect to pay a bit, this is not Little Caesers, it is a high class restuarant. It would be nice to have a prix fixe menu. You'll want more courses, and this place could compete with any of the high class Portland restuarants.

Giorgio is a flavor wizard! By far one of the best Italian restaurants in the Pearl, and a hidden jem of Portland. I've been here several times over many years, and never had a bad dish, and it's always a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tasteful treat if you are interested in gourmet Italian meal.

Went out to eat at Giorgio's last Saturday, and was really impressed. My Lamb Shank was cooked 10 of 10, couldn't have been more tender and the flavor was priceless, the condiments were exceptional as well. The desert was a apple tart with thinly sliced apples a cream cheese and the tart was fantastic, all topped off with a lemon drop liqueur. Expect we will be there often.

My experience with Georgio's was incredible! The food is uniquely prepared and tastes delicious. I thought their prices were pretty average. Their menu is filled with great choices. I especially loved their rich chocolate cake topped with Carmel ice cream, and most of all thier service was impeccable! I would highly recommend this restraunt if you are wanting to have a nice quaint flavorful dinner & treated like first class as well.

Food was delicious. We were the only people in the restaurant so the chef made us a complimentary pizza! While it was quite pricey, I'd say the food was worth it. I will definitely be going back again for a special occasion.
