An absolute gem! My coworkers and I eat here multiple times per week and not a one of us has ever been disappointed. I particularly love their birria, which is great in a burrito or quesadilla, but you truly can't go wrong. And I recommend requesting a dollop of enchilada sauce on just about anything you order. :)

I love this place and I now specifically have it bookmarked for future visits to Portland. There is food displayed for customers to visually enjoy and get an idea of what is available. Omg, the smell alone is enough to get one salivating. I was so excited seeing that they served grilled and salted jalapeños. I ordered the tamales combo and enjoyed each bite. The chips and Guacamole is an essential to have with your meal. The horchata is a bit watered down but it is refreshing to have on the side with a hot meal. There is covered seating with a mural along the wall that is a great way to pass time as you chew. Such friendly service and I felt right at home there. Great recommendation 👍

Salsas Locas (Crazy Sauces) is an amped up food truck with some covered seating. Out of the two servers, only one spoke English. I looked at it as an opportunity to practice my Spanish. Food is on trays in a steam table. I had Carne Asada enchilada plate. The Carne asada was tasty but dry. Try the cactus 🌵. The servers were friendly and efficient.

Little gem in Portland ! Just been there once so far but I’m planning to go often try the bowl because they give you a lot of food I had black beans guacamole rice and birria with a side of tortillas my friend had tinga and everything was really good !! I’ll go back for sure even tho it’s out of my way

Neat spot with authentic Mexican food. Had their breakfast burrito. Good flavor and portion size, just a bit too greasy (from the chorizo). The habanero salsa is great! The medium green salsa is good but heavy on the citrus they add. Good service. Also has a nice outdoor seating area that’s covered. The parking lot is small.

This is easily my new favorite Hispanic food place near me, it's so freaking good! I got a carnitas burrito, and easily the best carnitas I've ever had, slathered with amazing and rich and black beans with all the fixings on that bad boy(cilantro onions cheese gauc etc). Got their spicy, and extra spicy (jalepno habanero) salsas on it, that thing was amazing. Easily like 2 lbs of food 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone that would listen to me shouting from the rooftops about this place

I'd give 5 stars cause it's sooooo good, but both times I've been, with 2 different people serving me, they just simply don't know how to wrap a burrito. You take your first big bite off the end, and it's all Rice. They're also huge and not wrapped well, so the whole time you're just wrestling with trying to keep it together. Very good though, I'm on my way there now.
