Muu-Muu’s has a very “Portland” feel - from the eclectic, original Portland street lamp lights to the paintings on the walls and the decor. Love the food and the drinks - I’ve been here several times and have been satisfied each time by the food quality, price, and variety. Service here is also excellent! In a city with a large number of amazing restaurants to try - this is one worth visiting multiple times.
First visit. We've been meaning to try Muu Muu for a long time, but we rarely go to a bar these days. Anyway, we went with our son for an early dinner. I got the shrimp po boy and my wife and kid split a burger. It seems like they put everything in a french roll so the burger was a bit unusual. However, they both were really good.
All in all, they live up to their label - comfort food from around the world. The kitchen is really good. It's all in the execution. We'll be back to try the other dishes.
This place was a welcome surprise. The server was friendly and helpful while also being a bit surly. We love surly bartenders since we know how to act in a bar. The drinks were good and the food was pretty damn good. Well worth it.
Pretty quirky neighborhood spot by Cinema 21 on 21st ave. The menu has a lot of width and depth, from Asian to Southern, with an option for seemingly every appetite. The food is a bit overpriced and seating can feel a little cramped, but overall this is a solid option for anyone checking out the NW district.
Amazing atmosphere and wonderful happy hour. What I didn't like is that I wanted everything on the menu except the Roasted Garlic plate.. I was on a date.
Low lighting at night with table lit candles. Come here on a date, for a drink with friends or for their blue cheese stuffed steak. GG Muu-Muu's
The sandwich was a bit bread-y. Otherwise good, with really interesting decor.
As sad (is it?) to admit this is one of my favorite bars on NW 21st. They consistently have good, strong drinks and delectable food at a fairly reasonable price. I typically order a Jameson on the rocks or a greyhound. The staff are generally friendly. Darker location (but the outdoor seating makes up for it).
Really great food! Very eclectic Portland spot. It has the feeling of having been around the Northwest Portland area for a long time. I'm definitely going to go back so I can try other things. Had their chicken sandwich that had fries on it. Heavy but super tasty. Great place to go before setting a movie next door.
I've been here many times over the years and if I could use one word to describe Muu-Muu's, it's: consistency. The weekday bartender is all over it, taking care of the bar and all his tables - and giving attentive service all around. The food is solid, and their happy hour menu slays. They have veg/vegan options, but nothing extensive or wildly original. Good location. All around, a great place to stop in for a bite and a beverage.
I've been here many times since I live close. Sometimes more crowded than others. They have a great happy hour from 3 to 7 but only on drinks. However they always have small plates a variety very inexpensive. I've always had great service and friendly staff.
