Never disappoints. I've eaten at Beach and Station dozens of times and am always impressed with the food coming out of this little unassuming place. Most recently I took a group of 12 people there, and although a small dining room, they were able to accommodate in a reasonable amount of time. Stuffed flounder, gumbo, key lime pie are among my favorites. Staff is always friendly and professional.
We had a long wait for a table but they offered us a beverage while we waited. I had a great glass of Sauvignon blanc & they're not stingy with the pour! The restaurant is very small and they were packed but dinner was wonderful! Thanks for the great meal!
Fresh and local seafood. Quick service. Generous portions. All at our table said, "oh, here, you have to try some of this." I'm guessing any neg reviews are local competitors trying to stack the deck.
My wife and I eat here a least once every time we come into Port Aransas. It is a small place so be ready to wait. Everything I have tied here has been great. The gumbo is some of the best I have found. My wife loves the flounder fried or stuffed.

AMAzingly delicious dinner! we were in town for our anniversary, and decided to eat here. we were a little out off by the exterior, but BOY HOWDY am I glad we went in' family run and very friendly. great welcome and service. I had special - blackened snapper with a creamy poblano, garlic sauce - SO good, SO fresh and a HUGE filet! hubbie had fried platter with fish, shrimp snd oysters - all had individual type of breading - LOVE that! not one flavor fits all! and it was all fresh and delicious! crab cake app - how could I forget to mention that - was almost all crab with a perfect golden, crispy crunch! hubbie said as good as east coast cakes. highly recommend! dinner for 2 with drinks, app and dessert ( get the key lime cheesecake - pucker up and say YUM) - was under $75. entrees at dinner $15-$20

Omg this is the place to go for fresh raw oysters, they were delish! We also had the best service, its family owned and they made you feel like part if the family.
Dinner here was incredible. The amber jack special was the best at our table, but I don't think you can go wrong. The crab cakes and clam chowder were gone in seconds. We shared all four desserts among our table. The mousse is extremely rich and I don't think anyone could finish a slice by themselves. The bananas foster and key lime were excellent, but several of us decided the pecan pie took the cake. It isn't the most upscale location, but the food and the service are incredible. We're stopping by for lunch tomorrow.

After going 0 for 2 at places we stumbled across this little gem. Service staff is fantastic, and the food is great, I had the flounder and shrimp with red beans& rice and French fries, my wife had chicken alfredo, and my son had crab stuffed shrimp. All were amazing!!!!

Decided to drop in this cozy little grill. Visiting for the weekend for some birdwatching in port aransas(24th annual whooping crane festival!!). Walked in from the porch it was around 50 degrees and nobody was outside but inside was full. The waitress immediately made us feel at home and took us to the last open table. I had a glass of pinot grigio. She oriented us and we were off to a tour of gulf coast seafood exploration and delicious taste. Starting with the gumbo I knew I was in for a good night when the seafood packed gumbo spiced and delighted my tastebuds. The gumbo was some of the best I've ever had. I also had a blackened flounder and 3 gulf shrimp("gils special") sides of coleslaw and red beans and rice hit the spot and left no room in my stomach. This was some of the most flavorful and wonderful fish I have had. The blackened spices were done right and left me wondering how do they achieve the balance it was utterly perfect. My mom had the crab stuffed shrimp. She described it as heaven. My wife had the crab cake and was also very satisfied. My dad had the surf and turf(rib eye ordered medium rare was slightly over cooked and in many parts medium well.) He still enjoyed the steak and shrimp. Overall lesson here is you come for the seafood and leave very satisfied. If we come back to port aransas we will know where to come. Unfortunately they had run out of pie(probably because its so good) so I didnt get to try any of the key lime.

Visited this restaurant over spring break, great to support a local mom and pop restaurant. Food was worth the wait to get in. I had the red snapper and it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Husband had the surf and turf and my son had the flounder with shrimp. Both raved how good their meals were. Don’t forget to try Gil’s gumbo it was just the right amount of spicy.

So I will warn you, don't go without an empty tummy. You will regret not having enough room for the delicious food 🤤! It's the best crab legs I've had in YEARS, hubby had the crab stuffed shrimp, and his best friend had the Station Burger. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
It does take a little bit of time to get the food but the amount of love put into this place and their food is pristine and genuine!!! The family atmosphere is amazing and worth every minute of the wait!!!!
Our kids' orders of fried flounder & fries were delicious. My kids are all of it and said it was the best ever. They loved the fries too. We shared the fried seafood platter & the fish was so fresh. The batter was perfect, crispy, and light. All the sauces were homemade & tasty. It was worth the wait. They are a small family-run restaurant that is more about great fresh food.
This place was great! Small and what I would call a “hole in the wall” but the food was delicious. The oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious and the blackened fish was amazing. I had the red snapper and my husband had the amberjack. I highly recommend this place! Staff was kind, attentive and laid back.
