We were in Port A for a stay at the beach recently, and on our first night there we stopped by San Juan for a quick bite. The hustle and bustle was there as usual, super busy on a Saturday night, but the staff scrambled and our large party was seated in less than 10 minutes. The top shelf margaritas were a hit with the adults. The kids' dinners were brought out quickly, as the staff recognized the need to get the food out for the kids ASAP. The food itself was good, on par with the fare we have had at San Juan before. A good meal, at a very reasonable price! Give San Juan a try next time you're in Port A.

Stopped by San Juan for lunch today... consistently good food, and great service. Our waitress today was Sally, who did an amazing job! Attentive, but not intrusive... thank you Sally!
Chips and salsa, good as always. The extra bottles of red and green salsa are excellent, for those of us who want to little more heat! This visit included tortilla soup ordered by a couple of us, tacos, grilled shrimp and pancake platters for the "littles." All the food was very good, and literally came out 10 minutes after we ordered. Speed of dining is a critical component when dining with young children! LOL
Good food, good service, cool place... what's not to like. Recommend San Juan when you're in the mood for Tex-Mex when you're on the island!

This loving family restaurant has it all. Been there many times on vacation. They ALL greet me like I am family. I love every minute there. Food is fantastic 🤩. When on Mustang Island we eat breakfast, and dinner several times during our stay.

Fast service and excellent food. The chips and salsa were made there. The place was packed full of hungry people. The food comes out super fast. I'm not sure how the servers keep up.

This is the world’s best tastiest food I have ever had in my whole life . This is the most delectable cuisine I've ever experienced in my entire life. It’s I affordable . It’s the lowest rate I have ever had a Mexican food in United States and the best one . I'm absolutely thrilled with this restaurant. The exceptional quality and flavor are truly unparalleled. The queso sauce, substituting the traditional orange cheese, and the beef soup, as recommended by the friendly server, are the epitome of gastronomic delight. I have developed an insatiable fondness for this food, and I am eager to make it a daily dining destination. My order included chicken enchiladas, chimichanga, and a scrumptious sandwich. I relished every single morsel in the photograph, savoring each bite with sheer delight.

It was after breakfast hours and Mr. Juan made it possible for my son Mario to have his favorite breakfast food made for him. I was so happy and I felt that Mr. Juan really cares about his customers. We go to the island twice a year for a fishing tournament and it's been our tradition to eat at Don Juan's the day we leave. So I was so impressed with the service we received. Thank you everyone keep up the good work.

Every time I stay in Port Aransas, I come here for breakfast every single morning. Best breakfast in town, service is amazing, the whole staff is great, super nice and friendly. The food is beyond awesome. I have tried just about everything on the breakfast menu and never had a bad meal. Also never have to wait for our food. Coffee is great. Love this place. 10 out of 10 would recommend everybody to go!

Absolutely the best Authentic Mexican food we have had in a very long time!! They were really busy, but only waited like 2 or 3 min for a table. Food came out extremely hot and so very delicious. The queso was outstanding 100 stars!! Our waitress was the very best and so sweet! Definitely try this place when in Port Aransas!!

Loved the atmosphere and the decor! Food was good. Wish they put more effort into pico de gallo and guacamole, but I loved how carne asada was cooked. I'm not an expert in margaritas, but I've seen one on most of the tables, keep that in mind :) I came in hungry, I left completely full, with somethng to snack later

We love to come here for the delicious food and very reasonable prices. Service is always quick. There's always a crowd. The atmosphere and the drinks are unpretentious. I love to look at the booth seating with their carvings and artwork. You don't see many of them around anymore.
