This place is a staple in Plantation. The owner and staff are super friendly and kind hearted. The food is really good and they take pride in the community and help out schools and people in need. It really is a diamond in the rough.

Wow this pizza was awesome. Saw this pizza shop on google and it happened to be the next street off of 441 so I figured why not... the special was good also. My son and I each got a slice and a soda for 5 bucks the pizza slices work march and very delicious. Great new york style crispy crust pizza couldn't have asked for more delightful lunch. the location is a small shop with minimal feeding but I'm sure delivery would be just as good. the staff was very polite and excited to have us will try this establishment again at a future date.
This pizza joint has very good soup and more then just pizza.. They have daily soups and I'd suggest to get there bean & bacon.. Good prices for good food!
could not recommend more! Do miss the old bar though. But the food is always good and would recommend to anyone looking for some great food. Tastes extra good with a 7-11 slurpie, trust me and my dad when I say that.
Really enjoyed just the cheese pizza. It had a perfect amount of cheese and sauce, and it the perfect amount of crispness. However, the crust wasn’t all that great. It could have been more oiled. It just left me thirsty after finishing the slice I ate. Overall, reasonable prices, great service, and pretty good food.
We ordered, a cheese pie, calzone, meatball sub and a sausage & pepper sub. All of it was on point, cooked perfectly with high quality ingredients and really delicious. The owner and staff are friendly and happy to see you even though they were slammed at 7pm on a Friday. Looking forward to going back and trying something different on the menu.
Been coming here since it opened in 1972. Living in Colorado now, this is my #1 spot to stop at when in Ft Lauderdale. Meatball Parmesan sub is the best!!!!
$5 for two great new york slices and a soda in 2023! Freaking amazing! I literally call them two minutes away and ask for two slices and soda and whenever I'm there it's ready and hand them a $5 bill and throw a tip in the jar and scarf down those slices! 10/10
Great place to get a vibes of NEW York style pizza and atmosphere. All the Staff is friendly and in a matter of time will start addressing you by your name. Tip and you get a bell of celebration.
Order ahead and it's always ready when you arrive.

Will definitely be a return customer. Friendly staff and fast service. Good food! Much better option than franchise pizza and other more expensive “local” joints! Kids loved the cheese pizza and garlic bread. Couldn’t even get a photo before half the pie was gone already👍🏻

If you're familiar with real pizza you quickly realize that all the pizza in Dade-Broward-Palm Beach just doesn't "scratch that itch". Some places come a little close, but none as close as Mr D's.
Mr.D's scratches my pizza itch. I've been having pizza in New York for decades and it does that for me. I'm not a nice person. I'm not generous with compliments. I really mean this. Don't think, just go to Mr.D's, talk to the nice people running the place, and understand why I go here even though its really out of the way for me.

A little off the beaten path in a strip mall where Peters splits with Davie Rd. but definitely worth the trip..but no problem because they deliver too.
Reasonably priced delicious authentic NY style pizza. It's now our go to pizza 🍕 joint.. have tried the meatballs too and they were excellent.
