Loved it here! Just a cozy little place that has a delicious breakfast menu. I am glad we chose to go here, I got the western omelet and it was so good!

This was a nice little spot. Located on Forbes Avenue & just a few minutes walk away from the Hilton Garden Inn, Apollo's hit the spot for my breakfast hunger needs. Best part? The PRICES are affordable. I ordered a western omelet with potatoes & bread, and the total was only around $9!
There are a concern, though. You have to get your own water if not buying a bottle. And if you want it, you scoop it yourself out of a community ice bucket. That may be a little unsanitary because you never know whose hands have been where.
The ambience of the restaurant is okay. It seems like it is really for working, on the go people. But the food is really good abd the people are nice.

Great food. The kind of food that you think someone's momma is in the back cooking but you are Downtown (Dahntawn). Good portions, too. Great place to eat that is quick, and not too many people know about it .

Great, affordable little place in downtown Pittsburgh. It's cash only, so come prepared. Also prepare yourself for a quick line, every time it's busy. The menu is quick and authentic Greek. I'm a big fan of the tabouleh salad and the stuffed grape leaves. They're Greek staples, but they're particularly flavorful at Apollo Cafe.
The vibe is kind of cafeteria style. You walk in, go through the line and order, carry your tray to the end then pay and seat yourself. The Greek Chicken Salad is filling and the house dressing is just divine!
The table seating is somewhat close quarters and limited. But the overall dining experience is more like a quick, affordable place to grab breakfast or lunch downtown. So it's not uncomfortable for a quick bite. Love this place.
Be adventurous. Find a friend who hasn't been, and spread the love.

Went here for the first time this morning, and ordered my eggs over medium. Apollo Cafe was the first place I'd ever ordered over medium eggs and actually got the over medium eggs I asked for. I was so happy I was nearly moved to tears. I probably should have taken a picture. Either way, breakfast was absolutely perfect.

Cute little place, straightforward no frills. I liked that there was self serve water. Breakfast potatoes were awesome

Small quaint shop which was quite pleasing. The food is hot and fresh. Priced very reasonable. Only problem, I ordered scrambled eggs and got fried eggs.

We loved this little gem. The food was cooked deliciously! The prices are great and seems like the best diner option in the area. I would one hundred percent recommend it!!! Please go.

Nice cafeteria style diner. I’d the gyro feta omelette, the feta cheese had a mild flavor that didn’t compete with the gyro flavor so you could taste both.

Loved my reuben, veggie soup and rice pudding were good too. It's a nice little lunch place and pretty cheap too. Cash only but there's an atm inside.
