3rd time here still no issues. Twice for take out and once a dine in order. Good good and get my positive vote.
I tried it after the renovation and really love their food. Its reasonably priced and they give you a lot for your money. Their fried rice is the beat I've had in Pittsburgh and I love the Taiwan rice noodle.
Legit Chinese food.. If you're into actual Chinese food (not the Americanized kind -- crab rangoon, lo mein, etc.) then you might like this place. I have to admit I was rather hesitant to come here at first as I thought it'd be just another one of those Americanized Chinese options -- most places in Pittsburgh are like that -- but I was nicely surprised by the quality and style of their food. I ordered West Lake Beef Soup, some hot pot "Chengdu beef" something something, and some sort of chicken. All were quite good. They offer some SiChuan dishes and some other traditional options. Would recommend.
I always order mei fun from them and it tastes pretty authentic. Very few Chinese restaurants in the area have mei fun. The owner seems like a nice guy so I think I should give them a good review.
Don't order anything off the non-Chinese menu, unless you crave non-authentic American Chinese delights (in that case, TREAT YO'SELF). This is the only Chinese restaurant in Western Pennsylvania I'd consider showing my Chinese parents. I've only been disappointed by their soup noodles (though if you question why I was ordering soup noodles at a Sichuanese place, I'll look appropriately sheepish), and am particularly fond of their fried spicy fish pieces.
Best authentic Chinese food in town definitely, if you like spicy food this is definitely the first choice
