Best dining experience in Pittsburgh so far. My wife and I lived in Amsterdam and have been looking for a similar dining experience ever since we moved to Pittsburgh. We found it!

My favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh and one of my favorites in the whole world. The cooking is flawless, classic, perfect. Ingredients are fresh and you are always remembered and made to feel like family. This is a true underrated treasure in the dining scene of America.

They have some really interesting menu items. Everything is cooked to perfection and well seasoned. BYOB or you can run over the pedestrian bridge to the liquor store. Really nice atmosphere with fun staff and an excellent chef.

Fantastic food and the service was excellent. Had striped sea bass and it was cooked perfectly with an exceptional brown butter sauce. I've also never had octopus that was cooked so well. They accommodated our large party with a last minute reservation with no issues and made it feel like there was no burden. Highly recommended if your in the area for some of the best food I've had in pittsburgh.

This is a small, Mediterranean restaurant tucked into a quiet neighborhood and what a gem it is! We were greeted warmly with our BYOB wine and the ambiance was lively and colorful. Our hostess/waitstaff person was warm and had a wonderful smile. Ok, now the food: cornmeal dusted bread was crazy good, I had the salmon on beet sauce and it was incredible. Highly recommend.

It was the first time that I went to a restaurant after the COVID-19 pandemic. I could not feel more comfortable. People were super nice, the food was amazing and the atmosphere and the ambience was just heavenly. We sat outside and ate dinner took approximately three hours. My wife is a picky eater and she was extremely happy about her choice. The staff were super nice and extra extra careful about hygiene, social distancing and CDC guidelines. All in all, it was one of the best nights we have had in a long time. I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. I will be visiting this place more frequently as it is truly a neighborhood café that feels cozy, comfortable with exceptional food.

We had an amazing experience at this place. We were a group of 16 which is a lot for this smaller restaurant. Our guests thought the waitstaff was the best they have ever had. They were all so nice and accommodating with dietary restrictions and explaining the menu options. They didn't rush us and we really enjoyed our "rehearsal dinner" there. Food was good and atmosphere was really nice. Other restaurants wouldn't seat such a large group on a Friday between 6-8pm. They had no issues and treated us great. Definitely recommend!

This is a restaurant that has been on my list of places to try for years and it definitely did not disappoint. The location is just right and has a great intimate atmosphere in a residential section of Shadyside. The food was served delightfully hot (temperature not spice) and seasoned just perfectly. The bread that is brought to the table is sweet and warm and the Mediterranean appetizer is also quite nice. For an entree, I had and highly recommend the salmon. This is a BYOB establishment so feel free to bring a bottle of wine with you. The service here is also excellent. I'm sad it took me so long to finally try this place but I will definitely come back.

A great date night spot! Delicious food, attentive service and intimate setting. We tried chicken liver pate, pan fried sardines with greens and beans and the fisherman stew. Each dish was exquisite , and our server was very pleasant. The overall experience was very enjoyable
