We enjoyed brunch at the Commoner while staying at the Kimpton. First thing you'll notice is that the space is beautiful, well designed, and ambiance is great. We ordered the pork belly and eggs, and fried chicken sandwich. Service was great and food came out promptly. I wasn't very impressed with the sandwich - the chicken was a little dry, bread was tough, pickles and kimchi were somewhat of an afterthought. Fries were delicious though. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, with a crispy crust. Potatoes and eggs that came with it were also excellent. The dish was a bit on the heavy side, though. All in all it was decent for the hotel breakfast.

We walked in without reservations with a party of 6. After a brief wait, they got us seated. The waitress was amazing, as was the food. It was difficult to choose, there were so many tempting options on the menu. We all got something different and shared nibbles. Everything was great and everyone left happy. Will definitely be back, highly recommend.

Came here for breakfast. Recommend booking through OpenTable so you have a reservation and don't have to wait. Food is good quality and the service speed is standard. Great atmosphere for a conversation and is modern. Good decor and family friendly as well. Easy walk to PPG Paints Arena and surrounding area.

BEAUTIFUL inside. Service and food were great! Visited at 10 am with a couple of girlfriends, and split a bottle of champagne served with fresh juice. Got the chicken and waffles! The menu was small ( i love that). They had great choices, and it was perfect! Everyone we came in contact with from the greeters, server as well as lady at the front desk were so kind! Can't wait to go back for dinner and possibly stay at the hotel Monaco on our next visit!

Thank you to our server Ben who was perfectly attentive!
I visited this place about two weeks ago. Loved the decor and the food + drinks were delicious. We went early into dinner service and didn't need a reservation, but I would highly recommend one as the dining hall filled up very quickly.

I cannot compliment the Chef enough! What a delicious breakfast. Eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. Homemade sausage with hints of cinnamon that is absolutely perfect. Cocktails refreshing. Coffee that warms the soul. 10/10 would recommend.

Great food great place. The food have a great creative twist to it (banana cream with spicy pork belly or olive oil on Panna cotta) good atmosphere at the bar. If you are staying near it is a good dinner option.

Great food and lovely cocktails. I tried the gin cocktail, the awesome pork steak and the dessert (the name escapes me right now). Everything was incredibly enjoyable - the pork chop is wonderfully crispy but tender. The mustard sauce is a perfect pairing song with the coleslaw. This meal definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend.
