I just went in there for a #13 sandwich small and a potato salad.
For being small it was definitely enough

Have been coming to Port of Subs on 27 Ave and Thunderbird for years. They Always make my daughters sandwich just perfect. Met the owner this morning and she very nice and the store was very clean.
Great sub shop! Bread is very good and nice and soft. Had turkey, ham and provolone sandwich - excellent! Service is great and staff very friendly
Came in around 1130am needed 7 sandwiches for the work crew. Mo was the only employee in the store. He was making sandwiches left and right! Because he was all alone he was rushed and I’m sure stressed to the max! But he was polite and got the order right the first time!
I recently discovered Jersey Mikes and thought I found the ultimate sub. Well now I've found Port of Subs. The "number 1" is essentially JM's Italian. And it's awesome! Port of Subs gets the edge for price too with a foot long coming in easily a few or five bucks less thank Mikes.
There's also a 24" sub for the best value on what amounts to 2 footlongs. Awesome!
This isn't just another sub shop. This is more like a deli shop. The meat is all cut to order. They have several size sandwiches to choose from. Wheat, white ,or sourdough bread option. You can have it cold or grilled, which is essentially just a panini press. The prices are on par with most other sandwich shops. It's worth checking out if you've never been to one.
Great sandwich shop. Freshly sliced meats. And actually prepared salads. It's great to have a place actually chop and shred the ingredients of your salad. Bowls are great to shake the reading evenly as well. Great selection of breads to choose from as well. Sides a plenty the chili is my favorite. Staff is always friendly and take their time preparing your food.

I never leave reviews, but wanted to comment on the excellent customer service at this location. As soon as I walked in I felt welcome and comfortable. The employees acted like they genuinely loved their job and had positive attitudes. It’s hard to find this now-a-days so it’s refreshing. It’s the small things! Sandwich was good too ☺️
I go here sometimes for lunch, when I have the free time. I usually don’t make reviews, but the person who was helping me was exceptional! She was so positive, and sweet. Ready to help it was refreshing, with such a great personality. Her name was kalee, and I wanted to make sure she got some credit. If you’re hungry, expect awesome service when she’s working!
