Pleasantly surprised! I was a bit hesitant from some of the reviews however, we had a wonderful experience! The food was amazing and plentiful! We ordered the veal, cavatelli, and cannoli. It was all phenomenal! Even the fresh bread and olive oil was boasting with flavor! I was genuinely surprised. The staff were all beyond nice, attentive, and friendly! Seriously some of the friendliest staff we've had the pleasure of interacting with. Our server Rachel was one of the wonderful staff members! We've been to many different Italian restaurants and they typically have a very pretentious feel. The atmosphere here was much more casual and laid back, but not in an unpleasant manner (unless you're looking for uppity which don't get me wrong we like to get dolled up and enjoy every now and then). I would highly recommend this restaurant and we look forward to returning again someday!
I went there to take advantage of the appetizer specials during happy hour. The service is a little off due to the fact they're having trouble hiring people. Overall the food was pretty good but not quite worthy of a five star
I've been here twice with my family. I love their squid ink pasta and my husband said that their pizza is as closest to the taste of what pizza is when he was in Italy. They don't have a high chair or booths, but my son loves doodling on their table since they cover it with paper.
Dez , the official mixologist (and general manager) made us an amazing authentic!! Irish Coffee tonight! and the mussel appetizer near killed me it was so fantastic! I have to say, this is my new favorite local!
This was the second half of my Chicken Parmigiano. The portion sizes were huge compared to what I paid for my meal. I've never had Italian that tasted this good. If I lived in Phoenix, I would eat here weekly. Shouts out to Paulo for such a magnificent restaurant.
Great service. We all enjoyed the food. They did a good job accommodating the gluten-free needs of several in our party. I had the GF Penne Vodka -- delicious!)
Our group of 5 all enjoyed our meals. Two of us had the seafood over pasta. There was a n ample amount of seafood combined with perfectly prepared pasta in a light tomato and garlic based sauce. Two others had the lemon chicken which they both enjoyed. I don't recall what the fifth member of our group ordered but they too enjoyed their dish.
The restaurant is the same ownership as the one of the same name that use to be in downtown Chandler. They have done away with the white tablecloths for a more casual ambiance but the food quality remains. There is a large bar and service was attentive. Will definitely return. I would have given it a fifth star but for the lack of atmosphere.
My wife and I visited for the first time and had a great lunch. The baked eggplant in their homemade sauce was so flavorful I ate every last bit - and it’s a big portion! Service was a little short staffed (who isn’t these days - I get it) but they tried hard and were super friendly.
If I had the opportunity to give them more stars they would get 100 from me. I celebrated my birthday there with some friends and received hands down the best service ever. Everyone absolutely enjoyed their meal. Thank you La Stalla for making me feel so special!!
Good food and friendly staff. It was enjoyable to eat at a nice restaurant, socially distanced from other tables. There were 4 of us and everyone including a 7 year old were happy with their dishes. Staff were courteous and went the extra mile. I would return and recommend this restaurant.
