You will NOT find a better bakery in Phoenix!! Trust me, I have spent months checking them all out! This place has the best cupcakes and French macarons in town! They are open Tues-Sat and have a happy hour from 4-6 daily...half off single baked goods (macarons not included) They bake fresh daily and their choices are both creative and beautiful. We recently had A Bakeshop provide the wedding cake and desserts for our daughters wedding and they were phenomenal. The desserts were beautiful and delicious. We will certainly use them again and highly recommend them! Thank you!
aBake Shop did an absolutely phenomenal job with our wedding cake and mini desserts. The taste was impeccable, and the presentation was gorgeous. Cate and the team were friendly, responsive, and accommodating.
The most posh bakery in downtown Phoenix area, I noticed some pastries were gone by 10:30 am so my suggestion is get there earlier for a wider selection, the tasting cake was out for people to try, I bought a variety of mini cupcakes and a shortbread with chocolate ganache! Absolutely mouthwatering

Each cake we've purchased has been 100% moist and Superb!! The owner is extremely friendly as the staff very welcoming!! Excellent cakes, the best!! We are avid cake people. Buddy Cake Boss, Georgetown Cupcakes of Food Channel and Sprinkles although they are very good, are not nearly as tasty/good as this Bakery. Phenomenal product!! We got the Strawberry and the Snickers cake and tasted German Chocolate Perfection!!! As long as we live in Arizona our forever cake shop. 🎂!!!
I’ve never ordered a custom cake, and it was my moms 50th birthday, we also share birthdays so I made sure to try to do something nice to her and there was a gentlemen I spoke to on the phone (I really wish I remembered his name) who had great customer service and was very nice. They informed me about all the details via email and were very prompt and swift because I was on a time crunch as it was a couple days prior to me needing this cake! Plus I’m also not from Arizona so I told them that I was sending my dad to get it as I would not be in town just yet to pick it up. I’m so happy and the price was reasonable, and the cake was delicious.

I ordered a cake for my brother who lives in Phoenix all the way from the other side of the world in western Australia. Stephen made it so easy to order via email and assured me it would be delivered safely and it was. I had to make a few changes along the way and Stephen was so accommodating. Not to mention how beautiful the cake turned out and we’re all so thrilled we could make my brothers birthday a little better a million miles away. Thank you a bake shop!
Had wedding cake tasting today - Jess was attentive , prepared and engaging! We had a wonderful time and best of all every sample of cake, filling , frosting, cookies and macaroons were amazing delicious. Thank you for a great experience.

Our family discovered A Bakeshop pretty recently after it opened and have been a loyal fan ever since. We have ordered cakes, cupcakes, cookies, you name it for every special event in our lives from birthdays to baby showers and we are never disappointed.
Of course, when the time came to choose a bakery for our wedding cake/desserts it was not even a question to have A Bakeshop cater our wedding this past October. Andrea made it easy to schedule a tasting and get everything set up for the big day.
We had SO MANY compliments on the desserts we had at our wedding, and some of my friends from California that attended have even pleaded that I bring those AMAZING peanut butter sandwich cookies the next time I come to visit.
Anyways, Andrea and her team did an amazing job at our wedding and every other event we have ordered a dessert for and we HIGHLY recommend them without any hesitation. We cannot say enough great things about A Bakeshop and will surely be singing their praises for years to come.
My inner fat kid has a mind of his own. Had just finished dessert somewhere else. Couldn't help myself. I love cannolis like I grew up Italian. I didn't. Then I saw the magic bars and the cheesecakes. Had to try a Magic Bar, and the peanut butter cream cheese brownie bar. I could get in trouble here. I at the cannoli before we got home. The magic brownie died on the way home. I tried mouth to mouth but I ate it. We don't need to talk about the peanut butter brownie. It's only partially gone lol. I need a nap now.

A stunning cake from A Bakeshop at a recent wedding I photographed. It was flawless and utilized the florals beautifully. I didn't get to taste it but hopefully soon I will know what their cakes taste like because it smelt delicious!
