A lovely restaurant at the resort, with a high bar at the centre. There is a great variety of seating available, from comfortable and private booths to high tables with a great view of the place around the bar area.
Service was, without exception, always friendly and attentive. It tends to be quiet in the evenings, but gets fairly busy during morning time. In fact, the breakfast buffet is definitely worth of checking out -- some of the freshest fruits and a great selection of options.
There is not a huge amount of parking right at the front of the restaurant, but if you are willing to walk a little, this should not be a problem. I would note, though, that as typical for this resort, the scenery is very hilly so probably best to drop off someone with mobility issues and then park.
Overall, would highly recommend.
Different Point of View is easily in the top echelon of fine dining in the valley. The view over looking the city is spectacular, and the food is uniquely created by the amazing chef and staff. We enjoyed the melt in your mouth pork belly to begin the meal. The salads were fresh, the filet, and the chicken main course were prepared to perfection. The pastry chef did not disappoint with exceptional and meticulously prepared desserts! This dining experience is highly recommended for any occasion!!
Second time coming for dinner (had been a couple years) and it didn’t disappoint. Great food, service and atmosphere. And certainly recommend ok’ing for sunset and getting pictures outside or eating outside when it’s cooler temps. Hard to beat the view and overall experience. Good pricing for what you get. Bread before the meal was very tasty, they provided three different kinds.
Lovely restaurant with great food, service, and amazing views. The pesto spread they serve with bread was to die for, and our entrées were just as good. We got the Halibut and Chicken dinners and would highly recommend both. I had originally ordered the Lobster bisque which was not to my liking and the wait staff was quick to offer other suggestions as well as remove it from our bill (how nice is that?) The ambience was great for a date night or out with friends too. It is definitely a must when visiting the Phoenix area!
I came here for me & my girlfriend’s anniversary and it was an awesome experience. Every single dish was delicious, we started with the Crispy Braised Pork Belly for our starter, the chef was kind enough to serve us a braised short rib before our main entrees. I got the Apple Butter Glazed Pork Chop, my girlfriend ordered the Colorado Lamb Chops, both were amazing. Then we finished off with the Tahitian Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée & the Supreme Brown Butter Blondie (which was my favorite). Our waiter was super helpful with dish details and really attentive, the view is amazing as well!
Restaurant was well appointed and the service was just perfect. The menu consists of small plates, we had the pork belly, crab, mussels, and salmon. For dessert, we had chocolate ice cream cake. All of the dishes were excellent. It would be hard to pick another restaurant in the valley that features a such excellent views ~ truly spectacular. Given that it’s the summer the patio area was not open due to the heat, but that would have made for a more romantic and better setting. We did not have a reservation and had to eat at the lower restaurant so I would highly recommend you make a reservation advance.
I've tried a few high end places in Scottsdale and Phoenix these past years but this one is on another level:
- the cocktails were amazing (Old fashioned) 🥃
- the food was exquisite, perfect cooking of the steaks and fantastic sauce with it 🥩
- the deserts were awesome 🍰
Now, the part that tops it all is the service. Our waiter Nicholas has to be the most incredible waiter I came across, his attention to details and wine pairing advice were spot on. He went out of his way to make our dinner special.
This was my parents first time in Phoenix (and in the US) and after over a year without seeing them this was the perfect evening.
Got a chance to experience a lovely dinner at this magnificent restaurant - the view is absolutely breathtaking. Options for indoor or outdoor seating. The food was pleasant and the cocktails were enjoyable. The service was great! I’d highly recommend - perfect for special occasions and/or romantic dinners. Be mindful that some ride-share drivers (I.e. Uber, Lyft) may be skeptical about driving up the hill, depending on their vehicle. It looks more intimidating than it really is, very simple however, and 100% worth it.
We celebrated my wifes birthday, and it was one of the top dining experiences anywhere. The location at the top of a peak near North Mountain granting a spectacular view of the valley. Anytime of day provides amazing 360° views. The restaurant is in a stand-alone struncture that was built during the original development of the property. The architecture is just beautiful, with a seamless connection with the natural stone and elevation. We walked around after dinner and could really enjoy the wellkept grounds. Finally, the service and meal were excellent. Our waiter was a long-time employee (since 1984), and his positive energy and knowledge were truly a joy to experience.. our meals were perfectly prepared and delicious 😋. I can't say enough about this place, find a special night, get dressed up, and enjoy a top-notch experience. 👌
I loved the octopus appetizer that we had ordered. The view is unmatched as far as Phoenix restaurants. The waiters are well educated and mannered. I wish I had more time to write out this review.
