The food was very fresh and good quality. The service was fast and great! Each food was served within a perfect pace, not rushed nor too slow. Very comfy and nice atmosphere.
Charming, strip mall Korean barbecue. restaurant. It may not look like much from the outside, but trust me this place is a diamond in the rough. Every dish has all the flavor you are looking for in a Korean barbecue joint. We ordered set A, with an order of premium galbi ribs and everything was incredible. Incredible flavor, incredible service, and a great aesthetic inside. This is easily my new favorite Korean BBQ place and you should definitely give it a try! Ask for Jin and tell him Jersey says hello.
Very great experience, the place is family friendly, very fancy, the servers were so friendly and the food was so delicious! The restaurant is so unique and relaxing to enjoy.

This is the best Korean bbq I ever had in Philadelphia! We came in 4 people and were ordered the set for $168 serve 3-4. Everything came out so fast that we didn't even have much time to take pictures lol. We were so busy eating.
Everything starting from the miso soup, salad, side dishes and bibimbap, they were delicious. Especially the egg soufflé is to die for. I scraped every bit of it off the pot lol. And that one particular sauce, we all like it so much, it made with wasabi and/or sesame oil. It was so bomb when you dipped with grilled meats.
The set that we ordered came with a little bit of everything in the menu. We had pork ribs, ribeye, marinated chicken, pork, shrimp, squids, bulgogi, pork belly, and more.
Services are excellent! Staffs are very attentive and helpful. They cooked everything for us. All you have to do is eating lol.
Everything was flavored perfect with the right amounts of food, we finished everything because it was so good.
I highly highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed! It's definitely a hidden gem in North Philly, just right next door to the new H-Mart on N Front Street. We will definitely be returning!
Christmas Day Dinner at So Korean Grill Restaurant.
Absolutely pleasant surprise! Amazing food quality and portions!! Not to mention that their service was phenomenal!!!
There were 7 of us(6 Adults and a child) entered at around 4pm and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time but soon after, all tables were filled w/customers. Lucky us! We ordered 6 portions of Pork Galbi and Naengmyun(cold noodle), a few minutes later Pork Galbi w/side dish sets hit the table and all of us were just...'WOW'....the portion and taste were way beyond our expectations. Throughout the dinner, a young male server and a lady(maybe the owner..)kept us feel super comfortable and served all the extra items promptly. We will definitely go back and try other Korean BBQ soon.
We love Korean BBQ and this place is it. Service and food were excellent. Went on a Friday night, and the staff were very attentive and took a lot of initiative. The food was fresh and the meats were fresh and marinated well. The sides and and appetizers were also timely and hot. This is my new go-to for Korean BBQ in the area. Actually this isn't even in my area, We drove 45mins to get here and will do so again. It was great, give it a try.
First time there with my friends. My group has 5 but ordered the combo for 3-4 people, and the food was A LOT. Recommended!
Great dinning experience! They have the best side dishes out of all Korean restaurants in Philly!
First of all, both the floor and the table were clean. The meat and side dishes were delicious. Although the male server worked alone, he was quick and friendly.
THIS PLACE IS IT.
You'd think a store in the corner of some plaza would be just okay, but that's why it's called a hidden gem right? I drove 40 minutes from the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad I came.
The ambience is very nice. It's spacious, clean, and has a great upbeat vibe to it.
The service is impeccable. It's not an all you can eat place, so there is more care to your table. Waiters come and by to slice the meat, see if you need anything else, constantly. I love that about a place.
Now lets talk about the thing that matters the most.. THE FOOD. It was so delicious. We got the premium galbi meat. It was super juicy, not fatty (nobody likes the cartilage), and so tasteful. We got a seafood soup that was really good as well.
All I can say is that I'll be back for sure and I recommend this to everyone!!!!
