Sonic Drive-in

Me & my wife have been wanting to try sonic for a while now and finally went today.. worst experience ever. We could barely here the lady taking the order & waited about 15 minutes to even pay because the car in front of us was obviously having issues. The girl comes out to the car for our payment and when we asked about our milkshake she said “we don’t have those”. At this point we were so frustrated we just left without knowing if we paid for the shake or not. Giving 2 stars because the food was good but customer service sucked.

Food is good and servers but the girl who takes your order at the drive thru is terrible one of the worst I’ve ever encountered in my life. I could barely hear her, not because of the speaker but because she mumbles and talks quietly and slowly. All of that on top of no manners.not to mention the fact that I waited in line 30 minutes no exaggeration.

Waited in line for 20 minutes without moving. When we finally got to place our order and was waiting again we were approached by someone working there asking if the drink he was carrying was ours, it was not. When we got to the window to pay and pick up our good we were read an order from a receipt that wasn’t even close to what we ordered. Then a woman came to the window yelling that I ordered chili cheese fries when we ordered chili cheese tots. After going back and forth with her a few times with her insisting I asked for fries I asked if I could get tots she said sure and slammed the window closed. By this time I was so frustrated I drove off without our food and went to a competitor and received excellent customer service. Still waiting for a response. Guess Sonic doesn’t care about their customers.

Called ahead to ask closing time and got there 40 minutes before and was told they were closed. After they decided to finally serve us we saw them sitting on the food prep area, throwing large cups of ice across the kitchen at each other, and trying to make each other drop our food. There was even one girl that went outside and bought drugs in the middle of all this and of course it took at least 20 minutes to get our food after they finally let us order. The only one that showed any level of professionalism was the boy that took our order and there were 5 or 6 people in there the whole time that we could see. Can’t say I’m too happy about all of this.
