Excellent museum. Loved the current exhibition on Korean artists. And finally got to see the famous "ready-made" series by Duchamp in person. First Sunday of the month is pay what you can! Also happened to come during the inaugural Rocky Day where they opened the official Rocky merchandise shop by the famous Rocky steps. Can easily spend a whole day in this museum!

One of the most beautiful museums I've ever been to! I'm really intrigued by how some of the displays are built into the ceilings of each room. There is an investment and permanency and that design that is unusual. The parking is expensive, even with validation. Plan to spend an entire day here if you want to see everything in detail! I was there for 4 hours with a lunch break and I only got to see two floors. You need to make reservations. I recommend being the first ones there; It was so peaceful to be on the floors by myself.

An unforgettable experience! Purchasing our tickets online beforehand made getting in effortless. There is so much to see and do in this place that it would take multiple trips to see it all. We ate lunch at the cafe and everything was nice. There was a Korean art exhibit as well as many others. This was my first time going to an art museum. You know you hit the jackpot when you literally get lost inside of all the art. I will never forget it. We will be back!

A fully worldwide art experience from Asian, European, to American Art with outstanding full-size reproductions. The Philadelphia Museum is a must that will crown as a sweet ice in the cake your western visit of the city. Don’t forget to stop over by Rocky Statue and take a picture. You will also love your run the stairways as the boxing star would have done. If you want to save some money in your visit to the museum go on Friday from 5pm to 8:45 in order to pay as you wish ticket. On the first Sunday every month you will get the same deal as well.

What a find! This is a truly great museum, I will definitely visit again as I didn't have enough time to see everything. The most surprising exhibits for me were the Marcel Duchamp pieces, including his final artwork, and two by Hieronymus Bosch. A great outsider art gallery too. Highly recommended!

Spectacular building with a large collection of classic and some modern art. Absolutely worth a visit, though expensive - $30 for adults. The most interesting part of this museum is their willingness to mix newer art into classical sections. Lovely juxtaposition in many of their collections.

You need at least 2-3 hours to appreciate all the beautiful art in this museum. Although it is mostly know for being the "Rocky" steps, don't skip this museum if you are an art lover. We enjoyed the highlight guided tour. It was free with admission. There are various tours you can take. Check with the front desk for times. Take the time to see the large rooms with the cloister, the asian section and find the dog kennel it is truly unique.

Quite possibly the best art museum I have visited! Our group visited for a Friday "pay what you wish" evening and loved every bit of the 3 hours we spent there. We spent much of our time in the European galleries and loved the inclusion of architectural elements in the exhibits. Our one point of disappointment is that there was an event happening with loud, modern music playing and children participating in a "trick-or-treat" scavenger hunt through the museum. While we were happy to see a unique way to invite families with young children into the museum, we thought it would have been prudent to teach the children to conduct themselves quietly in a museum rather than interacting loudly.

Took a day trip here to check out the museum and surrounding area. The art inside and outside was amazing. The amount of statues and plaques outside on the grounds was incredible. Very detailed and historic. The grounds and buildings themselves were a sight to see. We posed near the Rocky statue and ran up the same steps he ran up in the movie. Once inside we were amazed at how grand and spectacular the displays were. One of the nicest and well laid out museums we’ve ever seen. There was a lot of areas that couldn’t be filmed so we put away our phones and just enjoyed the experience. They have a nice gift shop. There is a decent amount of paid parking and eateries in the area. We pretty much spent the whole day here.

One of my favorite reasons to visit Philadelphia. I love the collections, especially the mid-century artworks and the current special exhibition, "The Shape of Time : Korean Art after 1989". The restaurant 'Stir' in the museum is a plus. I highly recommend the burger. They also have many creative Korean-style menu items that I'd like to try on my next visit. The surrounding nature is beautiful. It's a really good place for refreshing and escaping from the busy city life
