Superb spot for Breakfast. Huge portions, good prices and great service from our Amish hostesses. Sitting is at the counter so large groups will be split up and someone will be waiting for your seat when you're done. Only complaint is the use of styrofoam and plastics at the table and with to-go items. Ate their twice. Only order one pancake, they're enormous.

Oh my….the portions are insane. The food is the best. If I only had three stomachs. I had the turkey boat and it was so good I didn’t leave anything else. How to sum up my food experience is that it’s food therapy.

Scrumptious breakfast in a humble outlet in the Reading Terminal Market. I came here on a work trip and happened to eat my breakfast here. Oh boy what a great treat! The bacon jam sandwich with a side of scrapple was not just an interesting new taste but also juicy and delicious. Got a hot apple dumpling as takeout and the smell was so good that I ended up eating it right there. Highly recommend this place!

The Dutch Eating Place is a cute little sit-down diner-like vendor in the Readijg Terminal Market. Prices are good and the service is excellent! I had the apple dumpling and absolutely loved it. The apple dumpling tasted like a more savory version of an apple pie, which I found very enjoyable!

An excellent spot to grab breakfast. Staff is very friendly. The peach pancakes was phenomenal with fresh peaches and a super fluffy pancake. Bacon and eggs were good as well. For the price it cannot be beat. Would also recommend the apple dumpling. Really solid dessert. One thing to note is that it does get busy around breakfast time, so finding a seat might take some time

Big portions and such a fun experience. The food was standard but everything was quite tasty. We would recommend if you’re from out of town and visiting. The pancakes were fluffy and we loved the home fries. It was our first time trying the scrapple…it was interesting. Wasn’t bad or great but we do recommend trying if you’re here!

The food is delicious! Amazing breakfast and huge portions. The service is excellent, very friendly, kind and fast. They get busy, but orders come out super fast. This place is always packed, and that's a good thing. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast and would totally recommend it if you're in Reading Terminal. 📍🥞🥓🍽🍳🍞

A fantastic little Dutch eatery in Reading Terminal, prices are a bit on the higher size for the portions in comparison to some places nearby in Chinatown, but the food is particularly very good. Personally I have had the seasonal burger, the BLT, and a club sandwich, and while the foods are basic sure the ingredients are fresh and everything is always very very tasty. Highly recommend their pancakes too!

Amazing tasty food, come here if you are craving a hearty American breakfast. It will be difficult to decide between the dishes but whatever you choose, it will certainly be delicious. Great value for money (e.g. one pancake is the size of the whole plate!). Tip: The portions were quite large so if you‘re used to European sizes rather choose one dish and come back a second time to try something different!

It was lunchtime and was busy everywhere at the Philly’s Reading Terminal Market. The Dutch Eating Place looked very calm and relaxing eatery to try, so we were lucky enough to occupy three sits! Everything looked pretty good. Potatoes were well fried and hotdog looked tasty. I wasn’t lucky enough with my sandwich… Turkey was dry and smelled too much turkey. Overall, it was a positive experience. The waitress was very pleasant and gentle.
