It you haven’t tried their cheesesteak pirogies you are missing out. The gentleman (owner) behind the counter was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Phenomenal service, and just an all around great small business.
Amazing hidden gem. Authentic Polish deli with amazing sausages and sides. The owner is very friendly and welcomed me as a first time customer this morning. I shop at Lidl nearby on Saturday mornings and I will definitely add Czerw’s to my weekly grocery run! Highly recommend!
I heard about this place a long time ago but I live in Delaware so it took me a while to decide to take the trip. I heard about the long lines, (more so during the holidays). I drove up there and easily found the location. There was no line when I entered the business but it quickly filled up. More importantly, I was greeted by a pleasant gentleman who was very friendly and personable. He answered all the questions I had and directed me through my purchase. I am completely please with the quality and service. It is truly one of the best kielbasa sausages I've eaten. Thank you and keep up the service and quality that you provide. That is a dying practice that should be celebrated and supported.
This is the real deal. Original Philly. Everything made from scratch daily The kielbasa and perogies are top notch, but everything is great.. John makes you feel like he is your good friend who lives next door. A kind smile, and he always asks "what's going on?" whether you have been going there for 25 years or it's your first time there.
I only came here because I heard it was the BEST!- I expected a long line but I called ahead and the friendliest man by the name of John told me he would be expecting me, and that it was a good time to come because a lot of people were watching the Phillies (Often times the line is right out the door) I just had to come before 4 PM, which I did. My heritage is partially Ukrainian And I have an exciting family party coming up on Saturday with all of my relative so I just felt, walking through those doors, that I was in good hands **positive vibes** and choosing the original Kielbasa and the smoked Kielbasa with garlic was a good decision (and he agreed)-plus all the delicious, sauerkraut to go along with it! Thank you John for making my first time here the best experience ever and I will be back again and tell everyone about your store!!

Best kielbasa anywhere. Always go here before the holidays to bring it home. Regular smoked, Cajun, and Popper are all must get. Incredible service and prices too.
Czerws is a Polish institution in Port Richmond. The counterman is the boss and he's always very happy to see the legions of fans who adore his kielbasa. This week alone I bought 11 lbs of kielbasa for family Christmas parties.
If you want authentic Polish food. If you want hand made Kielbasa dispensed by friendly staff. And you want to do it while feeling like your buying drugs in a back alley in a tough part of North Philly, then this is the place for you.
Excellent food items no matter what you purchase. The staff are super friendly, very helpful and always smiling (despite the huge crowds)!
