Stopped in for dinner while visiting the area. We Sat at the bar rather then waiting 30 to 45 minutes. . The atmosphere is relaxed, casual, with a bit of a sports theme and plenty of TVs. The food was so-so. My wife had French onion soup and the parm white fish and I opted for the lake pearch. We shared a tator tot nacho that was the highlight of our dining. The dinner salads were not fresh however the dressings were home made and delish. Joe, the bartender did a good job with conversation and kept our glasses full. Will probably scout out other choices in the area before returning.
Love the pine decor. Always clean and neat. Our waitress was great. And watching the other waitresses serve customers we saw the same great service. I had 2 huge blueberry pancakes and 2 scrambled eggs. My husband had the skillet. More than enough food in each plate. Love breakfast there.
We had an amazing veggie pizza and Monte Cristo sandwich here, wings and sauces were delicious, highly recommend the battered mushrooms - might be the best I've ever had. Service was wonderful, great servers and hostess, very sweet and attentive. Homey, super welcoming and comfortable environment. Also long island drinks were top notch, after a full day of skiing we needed the carbs and this place hit all the right spots. 6 out of 5 stars for sure.
Luv it here! If they dont quite know you the first time, they will the next. Its warm and welcome, Food is Amazing! Always Willing to drive the 45mins Away from home for Great Service and Food. Just as amazing when its Take Out.
Such good hearty food! Was kind of a last minute stop, didn't expect much, but the service was awesome, the food portions (even the kids portions) were great and everything tasted great! The kids get ice cream with their meals too. The prices were great too. Would definitely recommend.
Stopped here with my husband for dinner on vacation--felt very at ease at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere there so much we decided to just stay to eat. We both struck up very satisfying conversations with some locals--honestly one of the more memorable items i took away from our trip. All-you-could-eat shrimp were tasty and I'm already craving the French onion soup again. Definitely would recommend for a no-nonsense dining experience--very refreshing for the downtown area.
The food was great. The waitress very friendly. A great stop for dinner.
Amazing food. Menu is huge so there's something for everyone. Me and my husband are here once a week and sometimes more.
Joe the bartender is so nice and works fast! He's so welcoming he makes people want to come back!
Food is always good here. I like to try out different things on the menu and am never disappointed. Only issues were the waiter didn't ask questions, like if our check needed to be separate or not. When we arrived we were put on the waiting list and the hostess never called our names/ forgot about us so we had to ask to be seated.
Stopped in because it was close to the hotel where we were staying. It was cold and raining outside but as soon aswe stepped in we were welcomed by a smiling willing face and seated. Asia was our waitress and she was AWESOME! We had questions about some area attractions she couldn't answer so she called for someone who did. Tabitha came over, though she was busy, and in between her work she managed to give us some wonderful information. The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the whitefish, rice and green beans. my husband had the steak and shrimp, no complaints...only praise! I hope we get a chance to go back before we leave.
