Had a wonderful lunch here today. I had a party melt with fries This was one of the best I have ever had. Hand cut fries. My partner had the Club sandwich with fries. She enjoyed it as well. For dessert we took a banana pudding to go. It also was Delicious.
My husband and I stopped by for Sunday breakfast. The lovely Aurora went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. From the moment you step inside, you can tell you’ll have a great experience. We ordered a variety of dishes because we couldn’t decide on just one, there were so many delicious options to choose from. The lady that brought our food made a comment that we thought was hilarious “Am I at the wrong table?! This is too much food for just two people!” Well, we proved her wrong. We tried the Steak & Eggs, Sausage & Biscuits, Stack of Jacks, French Toast, and Fresh Fruit. My favorite part was their Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice! My husband had coffee. Everything tasted splendid! Except the hash-browns; they were a little bland in flavor. Overall, I have found my go-to for Sunday breakfast! Even if it’s all the way on the other side of town for me, it is SO worth it!
Really great place! We came during breakfast and it was very delicious! It's dog friendly and we're seated on the porch side of the restaurant along with other fellow dog lovers. The waitresses were all friendly and would come and ask to pet our puppies and brought out water for us and the pups. I cant remember what we ordered but I had an omelet and my wife had some eggs and it tasted amazing. Afterwords we ordered desert which was tasty!
Great experience!! I arrived after they just opened. The building has a nice old style atmosphere and is large enough while not being too large or touristy! The service was great and quick! The coffee had an excellent taste. The fried chicken absolutely amazing perfectly moist and excellent crunch! The Belgium waffle had a good flavor too! The potato and onions were fabulous also. I would definitely come back, highly recommend!
Our family loves this retro inspired cafe! I've been going here since before I had kids & now it's a favorite for them too. From the shiny exterior to the coat trees found at each booth & the stamped tin ceiling, it looks like something from a movie or old photos from the 40s & 50s. All the photography on the walls is of local spots in Pensacola & they have an old school diner counter with a milkshake machine!
The food doesn't disappoint either. They have daily lunch & dinner specials, made from scratch. Breakfast is served all day, which I love, and they have Sunday brunch too. Their burgers are delicious & the salmon omelet with home fries (sauteed potatoes & onions) is my go to, but their beef tips are great too. I haven't had a dessert there that I didn't like. The pecan pie cheesecake we had last time was sinful. And of course I can't forget the hand spun milkshakes made the old fashion way & their banana split is enough for 2-3 of us to share.
The service has always been great too. Plus, their prices are reasonable & the portions are good too.
We had a wonderful time. It was my mom‘s 90th birthday so it seems so appropriate to have a dinner celebration there. The staff they were so nice. Ella was our waitress and just a delight. Craig the manager came over a couple times to check on us, and then he even insisted on having my mom happy birthday dessert on the house. It was a lovely experience and I highly recommend.
What a delighful discovery! The service and staff extremely friendly in a genuine Southern hospitality way. We follow a carnivore/ Ketovore way of eating and the menu did not disappoint. Husband had the meatlovers omelette and I had the Greek Omelette- DELICIOUS! The omelette was fluffy and full of flavor. Highly recommended. We will return. Oh- and we got a table right away on a Sunday between 9:45-10am and the diner was mostly full. You are in and out in less than an hour. ( I took pictures after I already started eating- they serve more fruit than what is pictured 😉)
Old school diner with lots of variety on the menu. Breakfast is served all day. We came in for lunch, and I had the chili dog with a baked potato. My husband had the club sandwich, and my daughter had the spaghetti. Everything was very good. Prices were very reasonable and it was a good amount of food.
What a fantastic little (well medium sized) spot. If your in Pensacola it’s a must have stop. I have been coming here for years on beach trips and it never changes in the best way possible. Knowing after a long weekend on the beach I get to stop at my favorite diner for a glass of fresh orange juice and top notch diner food before hitting the road is the absolute best cap to a Pensacola trip. Do yourself a favor and swing on through for some great food and better service!
Old school diner atmosphere. Very nostalgic. Great food and service. Friendly staff. Had breakfast on a weekday, so not too over crowded. This was my second or third return trip just for the biscuits/ gravy/ sausage.. good, hot coffee, but great biscuits ... (Always tip your waitress!)
