The ribs are really good. They’re tender, smoky, and pull easily away from the bone. I bought the half slab for $25. I did not get sides, but they offer many tasty choices.
They even included their signature sauce in a cute little bear bottle in the side. If I had one critique, the sauce was not as thick as I like my sauce, but it was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy.
I consider myself a bit of a Grill Mistress and I know good ribs. I’ll visit again. Next time, I’ll get sides and let you know what’s up. Until then, good eating to ya! #cherreviews
Hidden gem in Pensacola!! Great BBQ offering all the meats. Three industrial smokers outside that are always workin’! The atmosphere reminds me of a Texas BBQ joint.
Free cookies for first timers! The pies are also delicious. Get on the wait list now if you want fresh pies for holiday dinners.
Highly recommend!
Omg! Don’t let the outside fool you! Super cute inside, service (Allie) was amazing and hands down the best BBQ in Pensacola! They gave free samples to try the sides and of Paul’s Lemon Cream pie, which I would never ordinarily order but it was incredible! Like a decadent cheesecake! Will be coming back for sure! Side note: The pulled pork was our fave!
Excellent food, great service. I would highly recommend a visit if you like BBQ and are anywhere near by. I raised cattle and BBQ'd most of my life. For this reason I rarely eat at BBQ restaurant unless someone recommends it. Too many times you get let down, not here. Hot Spot loves up to the hype. Plates are generous. There is plenty of parking which is a great thing in Pensacola. I really enjoyed the brisket, however the chicken and ribs were also delicious. It would be hard to make a choice. I was able to get the staff to take the pictures. I ate half my plate before remembering to take a picture.
Stopped in for lunch, the parking lot was full so I thought there would be a wait, but the building is much bigger on the inside then it looks.
BF had the 3 meat combo with ribs that were falling off the bone and seasoned very well, moist smoked chicken breast, shredded pork, back beans, and potato salad (this lost a star for me, sweet pickles shouldn’t be a thing). I had a BBQ bowl with smoked chicken breast, backed beans and macaroni & cheese. I had my beans on the side, them mixed in didn’t sound right to me. The service was great, it could have been cleaner, but that could be that it’s an old building. We will definitely be back!

This place has some of the best food in Pensacola. Along with great food, there is the entertainment and personalities of the staff. Funny, knowledgeable, sincere and empowered to take care of the customer. My first time eating here based on a recommendation and now I am making one to others. Try it and you will become a fan.
Food wasn't the best BBQ I've had....but we always like to try some local spots when traveling. The mac n cheese was delicious and the pies.....YUM! Our server was excellent. The owner came around to check in on us....great PR move.
We had their chicken, pork, brisket, and ribs. The ribs were my favorite and the pork was the favorite for my wife. We tried Mac and cheese, potato salad, beans, and stew for their sides. All were good but the potato salad was my top choice. Awesome workers were very friendly and checked in a good amount of times. Easily the best BBQ I've had. The pecan pie and the pumpkin pie were heavenly. This is a must visit place. We will be back and be bringing others with us.

HOLY COW!! Seriously the best service I have ever received anywhere in my entire life. My husband and I are visiting Pensacola for our anniversary and we stopped in at this bbq restaurant. I'm pretty picky about my bbq but I had a hunch that it would be good when we pulled up and I saw the pink porcelain pig outside. Our server was Brandon and from the start he was friendly and informative. He gave us the best menu suggestions and how to get the most out of each option. I am so glad he suggested adding ribs to our plates because they were the absolute bomb! The ribs had such a good flavor we ended up buying the rub there. I got the pork plate with coleslaw and potato salad and my husband got the pork and chicken plate with Brunswick stew and Mac and cheese. I cannot say enough about how delicious everything was. We got the lemon pie for dessert and it is homemade and 10/10. Near the end of my meal I didn't even have to ask for a Togo box Brandon just brought me everything I needed. I wish we lived closer so we could return but if you are in Pensacola try this place now!
We really enjoyed our dinner here. Had the pulled pork, sausage and ribs combo plate. I loved it all, but I was especially pleased with the sausage. I'm not a huge sausage fan generally, but I really loved theirs. The ribs were also delicious. Tender and flavorful. Our server was very attentive. The owner was there and I watched her carefully. She was very attentive and friendly. I wasn't too impressed with the sauce, but the meats spoke for themselves without sauces. I felt the price was fair, as well.
