THIS PLACE IS DA BOMB!!!! no, honestly, this place has great food and great service. I had to stop going there because I would eat lunch and dinner there. I was beginning to look like squidward on spongebob when he ate all the krabby patties (for those who don't know spongebob or don't care to watch it, in simpler terms, I was gaining weight like crazy). So, if you go here and get addicted it's completely normal just eat in moderation.... if possible lol.
This is one of my favorite places to go in Pensacola to grab a Hoagie or cheesesteak , because they are delicious. The sandwiches are unassuming and simple, just performed very well. There are not many places outside of Philly that you can get a real serious one like they make here. We are lucky to have such a place here in Pensacola. Give them a try if you want a very tasty and honest/straight forward meal. I have never been disappointed and I will bet you will not either.
This restaurant will not win any decor awards but it is not that kind of place. It is stuck in a strip mall, and is very small, but I usually find a table. The staff is really nice and helpful for the most part. Go on now.......its going to be ok.....give them a try. The food is often better in the places you might not expect.

Oh so good. I moved away from the area 1 1/2 years ago and I miss this place. Philly with hot peppers, mushrooms and mayo. Eat and sit back with a big old satisfied smile on your face

I grew up in Philadelphia and this is the only place in Pensacola to get authentic cheesesteaks and hoagies. I eat here regularly. Go Eagles! Beat Dallas!!
The name says it all. The best Philly cheesesteak in town. They only take cash so don't forget to bring a $10. Maybe they'll move to a better location one day, but for now it'll do.
If you haven't tried Philly's, you're missing out! Food is always cooked to order, fresh, melt in your mouth perfect. Even on the rare occasion that my order is wrong, the meal is still 100% delicious. Try the cannoli!

A New Favorite Burger Hoagie. One of my favorite childhood burgers is from a downtown spot called Slips. "Dressing" a cold sub bun with oil and vinegar really made the sandwich. They don't do them the same anymore, but I've found the burger hoagie at Philly's to be similar, superior, and most of all extremely crave-able. It takes a while to cook, and the meat isn't some fancy cheffy blend, but subbing some provolone makes it a favorite. The oil, vinegar, extra-thinly sliced herb covered onions are a great touch.
Cheesesteak. Drove from Orange Beach Al ( 80 miles round trip) because of the reviews and I wanted a really good cheesesteak. I was not disappointed! It was absolutely fantastic and the staff was awesome!!
I’m not from Philly but I know a good sandwich when I have one. Big beefy and flavorful with a large side of fries. Simple perfection.
My husband and I ate here for the first time. My Mother's family is from Philly. The cheesesteak subs we had today were as good as we could get in Philly. We live in Crestview. We will be coming back.

8-19-2023: been a few weeks since I last ate here. Sadly, my wife cheese sub special order mushrooms and they missed them. My cheesesteak hoagie was good as usual but seem short on meat… usually loaded from end to end but this time took a whole bite and no meat. Maybe an off day. 🤷
12-4-2022: the only place to get a cheesesteak fix! Tonight I added hot sausage to my hoagie 🤩!
10-27-2022: My wife had surgery this morning so I was in charge of dinner. Have not got my Philly’s in a while sooooo. A quick visit and dinner is done!
9-3-2022 It’s been too long! I needed my fav Philly fix! Philly club got it with extra meat. The Mrs got a meatball (I snatched a taste 👍) - clean place and hard working crew!
Second time eating from this location - wife ordered/wrong location who knows…. Anyway, they helped her out with order(thank you folks). Old world Italian rocks🤤👍
1-29-2022: got the crave for a Philly and boom got a fix! I can’t get over their Philly cheesesteak hoagie- absolutely great. Best meat, tomatoes, thin sliced onions, and Italian seasoning make this a standard for others to try and achieve. My wife had the meatball which she said was very good. Rounding out the sides with fresh French fries nice and crispy.

4-25-2022: Gotta get my Philly Phix… my usual Cheesesteak Hoagie 1/2. And my wife like the Meatball parmigiana & Fries (I got her a whole just so I could try some… 👍! Dining room is done and much more seating.
Excellent food tho a little slow in the lunch time rush, so I would recommend ordering ahead or coming during less busy times!
I ordered the old world Italian. This sandwich was perfectly prepared. It was seasoned well, tasty, and was full of meat. The fries and sweet tea was good also. Will definitely recommend and eat here again
What a phenomenal find! The chicken Philly sandwich was outstanding- fresh bread, fresh lettuce (not from a bag!) They do not skimp on the meat! Just the right amount of cheese. The Pizza Philly is something special - sauce was flavorful and sandwich was definitely filling. Service was slow- so call ahead of you are in a rush
I went here bout 2 months ago and I can honestly say the best Philly I ever had being a southern boy...but tonight it was honestly tasteless def wasn't the same but I'm not going to down the establishment could of been of one of them days having to provide extra..just know best Philly I ever had and I shaved top tier meat more than 300 times!!! 💯👏🐐🔥
Simply good hoagies. I had the chicken philly and loved the fresh ingredients. The fries were good and fountain drinks not watered down like some places do. You know who you are! Was there anything to warn you about? Not really. There was a bit of a wait but nothing crazy. I’m glad I stopped in.
Over the last 5-6 years, every time I visit Pensacola this place is a must stop for me! My favorite cheesesteak hands down and I’ve had authentic ones in Philadelphia (not a fan of cheese whiz that’s common up north).
This place over the last year has been remodeled with twice the space and I love that I’ve seen the same 2 hard-working employees every time I stop in! I always appreciate seeing Russ working so diligently! He’s very composed and efficient!
Terrific cheesesteakes but best not to be in a huge hurry as they have to make it for you to your specifications. This is a good thing as it is fresh and fantastic. Also have craft sodas along with the usual ones. Take a chance, try one, its self serve and all you care to drink.
Oh, while it is counter service, am sure they would appreciate a tip, and with their prices you really should and you really should tip a kichen who make really great food
