Silver Star Cafe

Beautiful location with views to the mountains and historic mine nearby. The food was good but fell a little bit short in quantity. I was impressed with their wine menu, the have amazing Spanish wines. Of course as Spaniard I’m biased but it’s hard to find places that serve good Spanish wine in Utah. On the other hand, we had to wait for an hour to be seated.

Never stayed at the lodge, but my family lives in PC and we often come to the cafe here. It’s a great spot for brunch and for special occasions, in a beautiful area on the side of the ski slope. The food is solid, service is good, and it’s hard to match the ambiance and scenery. Came here the other day and we got the Green Chili burger and Shakshuka. Both were tasty, although I would’ve liked a little more flavor or sauce out of the burger, and the Shakshuka was a little bit acidic and needed some more bread and maybe salt or spice in the sauce. The coffee cake here is excellent, so I’d definitely get it, especially here it’s cold out. The servers here are kind folks, and we always have a good experience here, so I’d overall recommend!
