Beautiful ambiance. Excellent service. Delicious food. This place was so lovely. The exterior is a bit unassuming, as soon as we walked in we knew we made the right choice. I’m vegan and sometimes it can be hard to find delicious options, Twisted Fern has tons of choices that are clearly labeled. I had the blue corn crepe, wedge salad, and cauliflower pasta dish. All three were flavorful and delicious. The staff was extremely attentive and kind. Highly recommend on all fronts!

Twisted Fern
I’m a bit behind on writing my review but I definitely didn’t want to skip over it! We went up to Park City a couple weeks ago for a quick staycation and decided on a whim to give Twisted Fern a try. I am so mad that I had never been before! Everything was spectacular. The decor is simple, but very warm and welcoming with natural elements, which is exactly what you want up in PC. We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation and assumed we would have to wait, but they were very friendly and accommodating and got us seated as quickly as they could. Service was spectacular. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Even people who weren’t waiting on us would stop and fill our waters if they noticed they were low.
They were helpful with drink and menu suggestions and explained everything so well. We ordered the cheese plate, which was a bit small for the price but really was curated so well. And I could eat that jalapeño raspberry jam with a spoon! We also had the Striped Bass and the Utah Elk, both of which had us nearly licking our plates. And each of the cocktails were perfect! Definitely making this a “must” on my Park City list!

Five star experience all around. The food was spectacular, excellent service, and a fun buzzy atmosphere. Recommendations for food:
Appetizers: Get the pork belly. I know you always should, but perhaps here especially. Outstanding flavors. Brussel Sprouts were also tasty. The stone fruit is a miss. I would not get it again nor recommend.
Entrees: (in order of best to worst)
1-Scallops - maybe the best I’ve had in Utah. The corn purée with it was just perfect as was a like pork belly. Not too heavy of a dinner.
2-Striped Bass
3-Coulotte Steak
4-Trout (I expected this to be my favorite, and while it’s good, it wasn’t as good as other things listed above.
5-Malfafine (we were excited to hear they made their pasta on-site, but this was a flop. Don’t get.
Desserts:
1- Pumpkin spice panna cotta
2-Brownie Sundae
3- Apple Crisp
Finally, We tried the mango, raspberry, and strawberry Italian sodas. They all tasted just okay.
Really great service.

As a local Park City realtor my friends and clients always ask me for a great restaurant off of Main Street. Twisted Fern is my favorite option! I love the ambiance and newly expanded space. The food is literally so good you can’t go wrong! I especially enjoy the chickpea starter, the octopus (my fave!), the trout dip, salads, the eggplant entree and all of the fish options. The burger is wonderful, and when clients have kids they especially love the kids menu. The bar has crafted some really fun drink options with a full bar of liquors.
During the summer I recommend you sit outdoors. Even though it’s in a strip mall you’re not facing the cars.
There’s a huge parking lot and plenty of room to park, and within easy walking distance to Prospector and very centrally located. And best of all, you won’t pay Main Street prices! So go ahead and order dessert!

I absolutely loved my experience here, the food was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. We shared a salad, it was so fresh and bursting with flavor. I got the trout for my main dish and it was absolutely perfect, the flavors were so unique and went together so well.

This was a phenomenal dinner for 4 people. The executive chef is a true foodie and he is not about to just feed you a great dinner. It’s about a truly gourmet experience at reasonable prices. The service was great. Our waiter knew the menu thoroughly, was informative and gave great suggestions. Dishes that stood out were : Elk, Mushroom fritters, smoked trout dip, grilled octopus, Brussels sprouts. The desserts were the proverbial cherry on the top of the dining experience. We ordered hazelnut bread pudding with walnut cream, and chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. The cocktails were delicious. We really loved the Honey Peartini. Highly recommend it! If you are in the area and even if you are not, this restaurant is a destination.

The prettiest and most unique dinner that I had while in Park City. This menu is a cut above most traditional offerings in town. I started with the Indigo 75 made with butterfly pea powder to give the drink a marvelous hue. Next was a beet and ricotta salad with ground pistachio, shitake fritters with lentils and chili popcorn, and a caramel bread pudding reminiscent of French toast but much more decadent. My husband had plainer tastes and went for a high quality ground beef burger with bacon and cheese and a brownie sundae. Everything was delicious. Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you. The inside is a modern, bright affair. Service was good though our mac and cheese never came and it was quite difficult to get a soda water when their bottled options were out. There was a bit of a wait the greeter who chose to hang out on the phone while we and another couple waited. Someone else came to rescue us.

Loved our dinner here! We shared the Mac and cheese as a starter then the pork chop and trout which we were told were the two most popular entrees and we can definitely see why! Great service from our waitress and the best dessert! White chocolate bread pudding with an amazing Carmel sauce and hazelnut whipped cream! We will definitely return on our next trip to park city!

Great vegan/vegetarian selections
We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant on our recent road trip from Atlanta to Salt Lake City. The restaurant was a bit drafty but when we asked the server to raise the temperature to make it warmer, it did get better. We ordered the flatbread, 3-cheese mac, the ravioli, shitake fritters and my mother-in-law ordered the Utah Elk. for dessert we had some kind of brownie with berries - it was really yum! We also had a bottle of their Malbec wine. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was professional. We would definitely go back if we lived in Utah.

Presentation was top notch, but not all the dishes were executed well in terms of taste. In general, it seems like the seafood dishes had well balanced seasoning. Other dishes like the fries, shiitake fritters, and ravioli were too salty. Poached Pear for dessert definitely looked better than it tasted. Prices were high, but this was expected in Park City. Service was friendly and food came out in a timely manner. I'd try some other restaurants before coming back here again.
