Amazing experience! Went in wanting to get a drink and a small bite and couldn’t be happier we did! The ambiance is amazing! Really cool comfy booth seating. The drinks and wine by the glass were great! The ciabatta and cilantro Crema hit the spot as we waited for our soups on a rainy fall day. Everything was perfect. Will definitely be back for entrees!
Chimayo was the perfect spot to celebrate our friend's birthday.
We loved the atmosphere and (most of) the food.
I ordered the blackened hangar steak with the twice-baked potato and collard greens. The collard greens were bitter and gross, in my opinion, but to be fair, it was my first time having collard greens. Maybe it's an acquired taste?
The cheddar-truffle twice-baked potato wasn't amazing, but it was fine.
The steak was incredible! I ordered mine medium rare and it was perfect and so tender!
A friend ordered the Elk London broil (yummy, but not as good as the hangar steak). Another friend ordered the crown roast barbecued spareribs and it was amazing!
We ordered the chips and queso appetizer and actually regret it. Not worth the price! The queso needed a lot of salt and even then it wasn't great.
The star of the table was the starter, a basket of bread with some sort of creamy cilantro sauce. We couldn't get enough of that!
For dessert, we got the churros (delicious) and the bread pudding (fine). The best part of dessert was the cinnamon ice cream!
We were at the table in front of the window so we had a lovely view of Main St, however if you get overheated easily, I recommend asking for a table away from the window, as it got hot from the setting sun.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place! The vibe was good, the food was good. Service was great. We ended up paying about $100/person including tax and tip.
My wife and I had a date night while on vacation in Deer valley and we loved our meal at Chimayo. We had the duck enchiladas, which were delicious, and we couldn’t even finish them the portion was so grand. Our server Leslie was fantastic…what a good egg. She recommended the hanger steak and we’ll be eating those leftovers tomorrow for breakfast!
Ordered the Elk plate and the duck enchiladas. Food is high quality and presentation was beautiful. Atmosphere is 10/10. Very clean and the service was also 10/10. Ryan provided us with the best service.
Food is delicious, I ordered the elk and a pomegranate Margarita. Also a chile relleno. If you are in park city it is definitely worth trying.
Great food and atmosphere. It is a bit pricy but it was actually worth the price. It’s hard to find a top notch restaurant that offers such a diverse and unique menu in the Midwest. We were big fans of the elk and scallops.
Delicious dinner. The waiter made the whole experience awkward. The fish taco was the best thing anyone ordered.
The place is cozy, and you see many other families having a great time enjoying their dinners. Service staff and front of house are all excellent. Perfectly professional and still amazingly efficient. This crew runs a very tight ship.
Had the smashed avocado salad (light and excellent) the elk skewer (hearty and amazing coffee glaze) and veggie enchiladas were among the best we’ve ever had. Amazing
Great service and atmosphere for a romantic date night. Disappointed in ribs as they were half cold. All other dishes were excellent, and the presentation was gorgeous.
Great spot for a nice dinner on Main Street. Delicious southwestern fare and expansive wine list. Our table ordered four entrees to share to try multiple dishes. We found the dried/fried (??) spaghetti to be an interesting choice of inedible garnish across the dishes. Dinner for five cost close to $500 with drinks + tip!
