Best food in Palo Alto. Also romantic and service is great.
The short ribs are my favorite. My party ordered a variety of starters and entrees and everyone was very happy.
One of our favorite French restaurants in Palo Alto. Love they staple Ricotta gnocchi. They switch up their menu seasonally. They also carry some good non-alcoholic cocktail options.
I feel like we tried everything on the menu and we were not disappointed. Highlights include the steak which was cooked to perfection, the Mac n cheese, and the fish (flounder maybe?)
The service was also great, she was super friendly and everything she recommended was great.
I'd recommend the old fashioned or Manhattan when you go.

Great food and lovely staff! Made a reservation for 5 and came all the way from Berkeley. We had the best experience, our host and waitress were both so sweet! Witnessed a few Karens giving the host a hard time but unfortunately for them he was an absolute gentleman. Gotta stick it to the snooty Palo Alto crowd. At least I would haha, he was very composed and polite. Can’t wait to come back.
Fabulous meal and incredible cocktails. The food was delicious and well-executed. I had the pork chop and my friends had the gnocchi. The hostess, server, and owner were all so kind and personable. I brought my friend here to celebrate her birthday and everyone made the entire evening so special...! We can't wait to come back next month for cocktails..! Thank you...
I spent many years in the restaurant industry, over two decades and this place is top notch. Service is detail oriented without being intrusive. Truly top notch. Service, food and bar are all standout. Duncan, the host showed grace under pressure. A packed Saturday and his service was friendly with a sense of urgency but never seeming short of patience. He gladly handled walk ins with a sense of warmth and welcoming. Our server Donna was a pro and took incredible care of us. Knowledgeable in food preparation techniques, wine and cocktails, it was a treat to be served by her. Thanks for the great food and service Zola, keep it up. The owner is blessed to have such a great staff!.
The owner, Guillaume, is the best around town in Palo Alto. Not many bar/restaurant owners go out of their to make sure their customers are taken care of. He took care of all us at the bar!
HIGHLY recommend you enjoy coming here for an Old Fashioned by the bartender, Duncan.
The vibes and tunes from the DJ also set the tone.
