Omg. This is absolutely at this moment the best restaurant in Downtown Palo Alto, CA. My family took me to Evvia in Palo Alto for my birthday. For a foodie like me, this was the best part of my birthday and one of the best birthday lunches i have ever had. Highly recommend this to my fellow Palo Alto neighbors and all visitors and tourists. They don't disappoint. I still see that day in my dreams, the steak was to die for.

Amazing experience at Evvia! 🤩
Felt very welcome and the staff was super friendly and trusted the waiter Loukas with the dessert which beat all expectations! The sole was very fresh and paired with healthy sides.
Probably my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area so far! Would definitely come back over and over! 😍
The waiter was exceptional. The person knew what he was talking about, how to explain the flavors of the dish or the wine and really helped you to decide what to order. The person made the difference. The food was very flavorful and well presented. You cannot go wrong with any dish you order here.
7 of us ordered 6 appetizers and 2 main courses; total $256 before tax. Food itself i will give 4.5 star. And then for this price at this quality, I would minus another 0.5 star. Service is great. Both owner and waiter are attentive.
One of the best places in Palo Alto! Great people and delicious food! I always come here when I’m in town. I recommend ordering the Saghanaki which if the pan fried cheese with oregano and lemon.
Psari Psito ! ( Grilled whole fish) It was my first time having this and have to say I was impressed. Food is perfectly plated and menu represents crafted Greek classics. It's a great if your downtown Palo Alto and looking for a nice place to eat. It's popular- so make a reservation in advance.
Interior / Vibe: 5 stars
Noticed right away the beautiful illuminated glass bottle wall . Plenty of outdoor seating under tent enclosure. Cool greek sail shades above your head ..feels like your in Greece. Nice touch. Very casual .. people with with pets and families and couples.
Food : 4.5 stars
Grilled fish was very moist and flavor with crispy outer skin. My first time having this actually ....I'm hooked !
Artichoke / eggplant skewer was tangy with side of Greek yogurt + red sauce. ( Red pepper?)
Grilled octopus was soft and flavorful . We were wondering how it got so soft and waiter said it was souvide. Only comment here was hoping to have larger portion. Seemed a bit small for the price .
Service: 5 stars
Was a bit busy because Valentines day weekend but food came out in time and waiters are very attentive and accommodating.
Two of us had lunch there today. The place was not full at all. I liked the warm/quiet ambient.
We had hot water, the bread was complimentary.
We only ordered appetizers. All dishes were good, but lamb was only Luke warm, not hot enough for me, the meat part was a bit too fatty taste. We ordered one baklava for desert, the waiter spliced into two plates for us, that's every nice. The triangle piece was a bit too sweet so I couldn't finish. I am not sure if I would come back.
