The Starving Husband

I've heard about this place, but never have been until today. Staff is spot on about everything. Portions are big. Lunch menu is worth the $$$, and so are the specials. Dinner menu is on the brink of outrageously priced. Our total bill for lunch cost what one entrée for dinner would have?????

My husband, daughter and I ate here on Saturday 6/28/2014 and I HAVE to give a shout out to our waitress Olivia. She was the BEST!! She handles potentially bad situations with a smile. She takes charge corrects the problem and leaves you happy!! Are you listening management?? I'm thinking this girl needs a promotion!
Best valentines dinner ever, food was awesome , shrimp cocktail, strawberry valentine salad, filet with lobster tail baked potatoe fresh vegatables, and an out of this world dessert platter. Live music too! It was the best. Our server Christine Anne was awesome as well as her assistant Josh we never wanted for anything.. Owner stopped by our table and spoke for a few minutes. Beautiful atmosphere, went to the one in Fayettville on the lake .
Definately plan on going back!
Great lasagna, soups and sandwiches. Clean, the staff is friendly. Yes, I'll be returning.
I had a hard time accepting that this was a legitimate restaurant. For most of my life, this was the truck stop.
I was wrong. The finest dining in south Atlanta really is off a fairly unused interstate exit, next to an off brand gas station, in the location of a former truck stop.
Why? They needed the truck stop space for parking. People come from all over, and the place is packed. It's packed on work days; in fact, it is packed before you get off work. Reservations are encouraged.
The food is beyond superb. The price is less than you expect.
Try the "house" potatoes. Better than baked or fried.
This one and the one in Fayetteville are somehow related to each other. Their food is always delicious. I would love to go soon but I don't think it's diet-friendly. It says it's Mediterranean (atleast the one in Fayetteville does) but it's pretty much Italian. Love it. Desserts are worth a try! Not very kid friendly for a little one
Great food!!! Best eggplant & florentine salmon that I've ever had.
Great Experience. Party of four, four different dishes, everyone of them was fabulous!. Portions are very large. We all brought home our leftovers. Will be back. PS: Kristen gave us great service!
We had our family christmas dinner for 16 there tonight and it was superb with wonderful service. Great!!
Fabulous! We went for our anniversary dinner and it Was Yummo! Hazel was the best waitress. Ask for her when you go in, you won't be disappointed with the service and food!
The service was awesome here! Everyone was so kind from the moment we walked through the door. The food was great and the wine was wonderful as well. I do love their other locations because of the setting but this location is nice as well. I did visit on my birthday and the staff sang to me and brought a delicious dessert!
Really good food and service. We got the baked ziti and seafood rotelli. Entrees include bread, soup and salad, which is amazing for the price. Super cute local place perfect on your way in or out of Atlanta
First time trying this place...I see what all the hype is about!! I had shrimp and scallops in Alfredo sauce with salad And soup..my friend had meatballs and pasta...sorry can't recall the name but it was her second time ordering it..she got an apple turnover...which was huge...I got 2 cookies..very good as well...oh and my cocktails were great as well..I will return!! Hidden gem..well not really..when we left it was crowded..
This place is just a hole in the wall connected to a gas station. However, the food is amazing. The atmosphere is great and the service is more than outstanding. The restaurant is extremely clean and when you walk in the door they have a display of all their desserts which look and taste phenomenal. Would recommend this place to anyone as everything was outstanding and the prices are great. The bill was just over $200 for seven people to have full meals and dessert. I was extremely surprised and amazed. We all mainly ate the Italian food selection, however they have steak and seafood options as well covering American Italian cuisines. With a large dessert selection, bolstering several different kinds of cakes and turnovers, to include cherry, peach and apple, better as large as a full size to go box.
The food was super good, a little pricy but the portions were huge and food is just to die for. The desserts are just as good and I highly recommend going
Great Italian restaurant close to the airport. Stopped here for the first time for lunch. We each had a salad with grilled chicken. Very fresh and the Italian dressing is amazing. Garlic rolls were good too. Didn’t have room for dessert, but will definitely return and leave room next time!
My first time at Frank’s and I was not disappointed. The tea was good, fries on point, and the Philly Steak sandwich was the best ever.
