Can I just say the family behind these Popi's establishments have such a wonderful history behind their journey to America and they are just really kind hearted people. I had the pleasure of meeting THE Popi & her daughter in law. They were one of the two caterers I could select from through my wedding venue. They fully impressed me on the first day I met them and tried their food. What I thought was going to be a small taststing for six, was definitely a 4 course meal. Everything was incredibly delicious and made with absolute love. A few of the items we tried were: Pork egg rolls, spanakopita, greek meatballs, coconut shrimp, garlic orzo, short rib, lemon piccata chicken, greek potatoes, green beans almandine, asparagus, fresh warm rolls, and the greek salad... if i could drink a bottle of the dressing I would. I obviously picked Popi's Place as the caterer. At the wedding they did an outstanding job, food was hot and fresh, massive portions. We had around 140 people and she over delivered, even took left overs home. Popi was there at the wedding and personally delivered my food and some extra appetizers to my husband and I. 10/10 all around experience with the establishments catering skills.
The Popi's family resturant chain been in this area for years. As to Popi's Place Too. I have been very loyal as a customer and friends with the family. Breakfast lunch and dinner many great things to choose from. I like coming to Popi's II because when I work on Saturday's I will stop in for breakfast since they are open so eairly.
If not the food your interested in. Outside in the porch ares back around 2003 I painted the greek fishing village on the southern arch wall. Come check it out. And come inside and enjoy the food and their hospitality. Have a Fantastic Day!! 😃
First time I've been there. It was nice to actually see numerous servers instead of being told you have to wait because we don't have enough people. Food is family style and delicious. They definitely give you enough to eat.
We were on vacation in Palmetto last week, and like to eat at local eateries. The food and the service was fantastic. Our waitress, Krista, was very attentive, and did a great job.
Great server, not sure what her name was as they don’t wear name tags. The food was hot and greasy like always.
Excellent service and food. Coffee was amazing! Prices were low, $11 for breakfast!
