The food is amazing!! Been here a few times & EVERYTIME the food is always delicious! Only one issue & that is small staff & yes I understand like many restaurants are going through this with Covid. BUT there's only 1 server that's actually working while others are chatting. Takes an hr for food but it's sooooo worth it! Believe me!

I had good service for my first time. Place is clean and massive. Has a night club attached. The food was uninspiring and pretty bland but I wouldn’t call it bad food by any means. Just wish it had more of that Mexican flavor. I salted and limed everything we ordered. It’s worth a try if you’re in the area. Palmetto is lacking decent food overall but was nice to find a place I’d be willing to go back to for tacos and margs.

We have been coming to El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant in Palmetto, FL for over 9 years (usually every Friday night but now every Taco Tuesday! 🌮) and we love the food, the blue margaritas and the staff! The food prepared here is the same as if it was prepared for the chef’s own family! Jesse, who oversees the restaurant is a really great guy and makes you feel like you are part of the family!
