7-eleven

7-Eleven is quickly becoming a top contender with my number one favorite gas station! I recently signed up for their awesome savings card which is super quick and easy, and you save $.11 a gallon for a limited time. I don't know about you, but savings is always something that is very welcomed and supported in my world;) They also have the best deals consistently for my favorite energy drink, which are very highly priced, so once again, money in the bank:) (cOVID-19 update) social distancing is in enforced, masks are required for employees as well as customers.

Dirty bathrooms, employees openly mock masks, and of course they do not enforce masks so nobody wears them. They do have hand sanitizer dispensers on the door and inside but they are empty so you end up touching them expecting sanitizer and when nothing comes out you only then realize that you now have to go wash your hands because you've now been contaminated with whatever the last few hundred hand sanitizer craving souls had. So you walk to the bathrooms that have that nostalgic 1975 trucker stop appeal including a missing toilet seat, essences of urine and body odor, and a sink that was last cleaned just prior to being boxed at the sink factory. I was not brave enough to try the spinning hot dogs or the coffee mostly due to, well...their appearances. Plus, it didn't help that the two people behind the counter had their masks hanging below their chin and seemed not to be concerned about their health, welfare or even cared enough about their jobs to dress in clean clothes. I did enjoy a bag of M&Ms which gave the energy to fight off the 27 buzzards in the parking lot.

Their gas prices you to be more competitive, but they have gone up in the last year or two. This is not my first choice to stop for gas and I elsewhere because of the prices, but if you want something to eat or drink they are safe bet. When I have been here they have hot dogs and other food that is reasonably fresh, and still have good coffee.
