Del Taco

My son and I decided to dine here after being treated rudely by the staff of the taco bell down the street. The staff here was very helpful and patient with us as this was our first time eating here and had to ask a few questions about the menu items. The food here is better too. Thank you for having a staff that actually knows proper customer service!

Late night snack...so they're open late. Food was good, especially the carbon chicken tacos! We ordered off of the discount menu so portions were small. The drive-through clerk messed up the order and we caught it in time. It was inconvenient because the payment card was back in my wallet in my pocket. But to make up for her mistake we had to pay for what she left off and that meant producing our card for a second time. Fish taco was just ok. Not alot to it. Our little dog loved the burger patty and practically swallowed it in 2 bites! Overall a good experience especially for a late night snack. It compares to other Mexican fast food restaurants.

I wish they had more locations! I have picky eaters at home that will literally only do meat and cheese tacos, and if you go to " the other taco fast food" place, you literally get a hollow shell! Not the case at Del Taco! The taco shells are filled all the way to the top, even if it's just meat and cheese! Let's not forget the crunchy hot crinkle cut fries with your combo. Yummmmm. If you haven't tried them yet, run don't walk. Enjoy!

Being a Californian I would go to Del Taco just about every day because the food is good and it doesn’t cost a lot. Now that I’ve been living in Daytona Beach for a few years , I really missed their Mexican food, the hot sauce - and so I decided to make the hour trip down here today to Del Taco.. ( I really wish they had a Del Taco over this way - Hint -Hint ) Some previous reviews were saying there is mold on the ceiling , but the truth is - is there was a leak in the roof that took about two weeks to get it fixed. ( okay ) Today the place looks great and is kept clean up to Restaurant standards. A++ Other reviews were saying it’s too pricy , but really… that’s not true at all... (Maybe the fountain drinks cost less at Circle-K.) Although most all of the fast-food places charge more for fountain drinks. Even Taco Bell charges more for a drink Okay--. Other than that you can get loaded up on tacos and burritos here for under $5 Bucks’ - Ice water is for free and Del Taco – taco sauce is the Best! When I walked in , I seen the manager himself had a mop in his hand cleaning up the floors in front of the fountain dispenser. – That’s putting in the extra effort right there.. We got to talking and I found out several California's come here and have nothing but nice things to say.. Both the Manager and cashier were very friendly and polite to me the entire time. I really miss Del Taco and wish to God they will open up one over this way! ( Hint! ) I will be your Best Customer! You have no idea how expensive - and lousy the Spanish food is over here… I want my Del Taco!!

We love this place. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. The tacos are tasty and full of flavor. Keep in mind these are fast food tacos. We enjoy it better than Taco Bell and they have fries, if you want something different with your meal. Our choices are the Del Taco and Grilled Chicken Tacos.

We used to eat at Del Taco in Vegas, but since moving back to Port Orange, Florida, don't have the pleasure anymore. Today we decided to drive all that way (over an hour each way), making a stop in Titusville to see a rocket launch, then onto Del Taco by UCF for a ton of food! The gentleman at the counter was amazing! Sorry we didn't get his name(tall bigger dude with glasses) but he was so friendly even when we were confusing ourselves on what we wanted. The food was awesome although the guys thought the chicken burritos used to be bigger. Haha. We made this trip 2 years ago and plan on doing it as a yearly adventure. We are stuffed, bringing leftovers home, and probably gonna pass out in a food coma when we get there. Thanks for the awesome hospitality!
