I could come here every day if I can. Coffee is so good and they have the best Empanadas in town. Pastries are the best. I got people coming by to visit all the time and they love it too. Both Locations, Very Excellent �
This place is an A+. Everything is excellent, I ask for a coffee, beef empanadas & quesitos. The best place ever in East Colonial & Woodbury Rd. Thanh you guys you're the best! :)

First impression? What a nice option to have. It was my first time visiting this place. I could hang out there all day, after all, you could get coffee, mimosas or wine here and a variety of meal options.!
Nestled away in a corner of the shopping center, there's plenty of parking. Huge bonus for location. You enter into a homey, comfortable spot that yearns for you to stay a while. Different types of seating is available; sofa and chairs for relaxed vibes, great for coffee and book reading or coffee and chats, window seating in small, intimate wooden booths that get lots if sunlight. Wooden tables set up throughout the open dining area for small groups or casual, relaxed seating along the wall with large pillows for your back. Well thought out space with quality displayed. Trash/condiment replenishment areas are well kept; clean.
Food options available for the pickiest person - me! From breakfast sandwiches to pastries and quick lunch items, it could easily be a comfortable lunch and early dinner location. The only con, I didn't know what some items were, and a staff member had a hard time telling me. She spoke only Spanish and didn't try to answer in English. Be sure to watch what the person in front of you does because as a first timer, you don't know to order, then move to pay along the opposite side of display cases. We thought our person just walked away from us after we ordered to get our order to bring to us. Nope. She was waiting way at the opposite end of the counter for us to pay but she didn't speak english so she didn't tell us.... Yikes.
The place was clean and inviting. Staff member came out periodically to clean tables where guests left things. I'd go here again. They show pride in their bakery.
Went to Mecatos for a quick dessert and thoroughly enjoyed my cheesecake! My friend ordered a tres leches cake, and it was a little too sweet for our tastes. The cafe is very clean and comfortable, though we were not in there long.
Loved my food and cappuccino immensely! Mildred was exceptionally helpful, as I wanted every item and needed help deciding! Definitely recommend the Empanadas with the spicy salsa and garlic sauce! The space is large and inviting comfortable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My daughter took me here for the first time. A very nice and open area. Delicious desserts and food. I saw some people on there laptops like working or studying. Very clean nice area to have a nice brunch or evening dinner.

Another Mecatos wonderful experience! First time at this location. Quality is the same high standards as the ones I've visited. It's a must for coffee lovers everywhere!
My wife and I really liked this place a lot. The coffees were amazing, and the empanadas weren't bad. The service was great and the employees were friendly. Definitely plan to return and looking forward to trying more things.
I always come to Mercatos Cafe ! Greeted and served by Jessica!! She is super friendly and kind ! Great food! I recommend the avocado toast and a cappuccino! The tropical pastry is amazing too! My boys love the empanadas!
I love meeting up with friends here and not feeling like you need to be rushed out the door.
Nice little place. Only had the latte and that was great. Cute place and great place to have a conversation very clean and atmosphere is perfect.
I stepped into the lake underhill location and it was my first time , the ambience was spacious and modern. I really loved it but Jessica service made it even better for me. I'm not good with Spanish but she made sure to explain to me everything in English and I really appreciate that. The food brought out to me with a smile and it was also delicious. I really love the service and will be back . 10/10
Being a pastry chef I was very surprised to find this gem while visiting Florida. I have been to a dozen different locations and thus far Mecatos has made my top ten list. Must visit again. Great job
