Bonsai Sushi

One of our favorite spots. This is a small, family run restaurant with an excellent selection of maki rolls, fresh ingredients and fantastic service. The Spicy Tuna Crunch is a great appetizer and the Magic Roll and Candy cane are two of my favorites. Make sure to call ahead as they are typically booked. You will need a reservation!

This place undoubtably has the best sushi in Orlando! Truly, the freshest and most presentable I have come across. They have an extensive sushi list but everything can be customizable to you. My favorites are fatty matty, bay hill and the tango roll. The ladies that work there are so friendly and welcoming. My only advice is to make reservations. It’s a small restaurant and can get very busy. Take note, they are closed from 1-5pm. Oh yeah don’t forget to order their fried cheesecake. You won’t regret it

I was told this place was "Life changing Sushi" by my friend and they aren't wrong. I've eaten sushi from some pretty good places, but this place hands down demolished all of them. Food: (9/10) Amazing, the tuna lovers roll was the most tender tuna I have ever eaten, we paired it with authentic Wasabi (a must for any sushi lover). The tiger salad is another must try and if course they had a decent Nigori Sake to go with it all Portions: (8/10) everything we had was decently portioned, with sushi less is more and they found the butter zone with the sizes not too small but also not too big, the rolls left us wanting just a bit more so we opted for sashimi which was also amazing. Price: (9\10) The price to quality is hands down impressive, they serve the best sushi I have ever had and at a price that you can actually eat it 1-2 times a week if you really wanted.

As the saying says… “Good things come in small packages”. Bonsai Sushi rocks! It is a small little gem in Dr. Phillips. The service and the food is first class. I skipped dessert because the servings are huge but next time I’ll try the deep Tempura cheesecake for sure. If you love sushi, you’ll love this place.
