Wow, I've never had a quesadilla that wasn't over cheesed. I loved it.
It seemed very pricey, however when I got in the car and took one look at my 3 steak tacos w/ cheese and decided that they were worth the price. After the first bite I thought I should go pay them more....lol. The food was great and the woman that took my order was super pleasant. The dining room seemed as tho there was no a/c but with the casino machines filled with people that aren't buying I wouldn't have the a/c on either. Great food, pleasant employee, sketchy gamblers🤷♀️.... better as a order and go establishment.
Great good, friendly staff, and they stay open really late. Will definitely be back!
This was, by far, the best Mexican food I've had in Omaha. It was extremely authentic and the food was incredible. I got a torta cubana and chips and salsa and have nothing but good things to say. There were crispy bits of carne asada in the torta and it set it off to a whole new level. Each bite was filled with maximum flavor including the freshest of fresh tomato, avocado, and onion. The chips and salsa are what I call flavor city. Extremely delicious and the kind waitress brought us a refill upon no request. I ended up adding the extra salsa to my torta and wow, there's no words to describe how delicious it was. I lived in California for 5 years and had a plethora of torta, and this compares to the best of them!
I was afraid to make this review because I plan on going back regularly and I'm scared too many people will find out about this restaurant and it'll no longer be kept a secret.
10/10 would highly recommend it to anyone in Omaha.
Good tating/smelling food BUT the night service is confusing and not all too friendly.
P.S. If you are a door dasher to there, CHECK THE ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE. I picked up an order and drove it to the customer without the drinks. The customer said they specifically call the restaurant before I got there to remind them too. I drove back to get the drinks and the cook was rude as heck!!! I ended up calling DD and explaining I messed up for not checking but the restaurant would not just gimme the drinks. Ive had other mishaps with them too but I only dash for them at night.
By far the best menudo we had at a restaurant if we lived closer we would go often.
I'm always here late night picking up doordash orders so I can't tell you much about what it's like during the day. Late night though, the small staff (usually just one person) works their heinies off making some darn delicious food. It's a little different than what you find other places, but personally I love the way they season their meats and haven't had a bad thing here yet. The staff is always friendly and do their best to get everyone's food out as quickly as possible. Sometimes that isn't very quick as they are one of the few places open late. On occasion they will get extremely busy on any random night and if it's only the one person working, well I'm sure you can see the problem. Even then though I think most would be impressed with how fast they still get food out under those kind of conditions. Would (and have) definitely recommend!
