I have lived within walking distance of this place my entire life. My mother and sisters and I used to eat there when we had a bit of money. They're inexpensive and insanely delicious. Friendly, cheap, great food. Rainbow will always be at the top of my list of places to eat when Chinese food is mentioned.

Great place for cheap food! Most meals are 3.99 or less, so you're getting quite a bit for what you pay for. The people are very nice. Don't let the exterior fool you. Give this place a shot!

Great food, and most things are 3.99 or less!!!!! Always pleasant people, but don't talk very much... Show up and order, wait about 10 min... Call and order for faster service...

The food is delicious. It is about $6 for most of the chicken or beef dishes. They have real duck sauce, and very good egg drop soup. Do not be put off by the older building.

We love this place. It's cash only and the couple that owns it, is very friendly. We go out of our way to get their Hot n Sour soup. Their lunch combos are a real good deal. They come with rice and a egg roll too. If you order off the menu, try the Beef Lo Mein and the Egg Foo Young. All the food is good though! (Everything's affordable)

Great food, even better prices. The family that owns it are always very nice and have been there for a very long time. If you're expecting what you'd get from panda express you will be disappointed though. Their sesame seed chicken comes dry and they give you the sause to drip your chicken in. The rice and eggrolls are worth getting just by themselves though!

Simple and cheap place to eat with great food. Just make sure you have cash because that is all they take. (Bills under $20)

I have literally been coming here since I was about 6. I am almost 29 now and this is still my absolute favorite Chinese place to go. I have tried several places but no one else gets it the way Rainbow gets it. I don't live close anymore but any chance I get to pass through the Southside or even Moore, I make a stop here. The owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet and the price for what you get is amazing. I don't think it's even changed since I was young. They are incredibly consistent with the food. I'm so happy I went yesterday for dinner and that I bought extra to bring home. I just finished eating some of those leftovers 😅. I will always and forever recommend this place. I remember being known as the water girl when I was a kid because every time me and my mom came in I would beg for their water because even that tasted better 😂. Rainbow is a piece of my childhood and I'm happy I get to share that with my son cause he knows and loves Rainbow now too lol. How do they make the chicken fried rice so good?! I've never had rice be so delicious anywhere else and I don't feel as though I can live without it lol.

Anything I order from this place is always the peak of Asian food quality ! And the price is affordable also ! Their Egg Foo Young is superb, along with Mongolian Beef, and super egg rolls. You can't go wrong with any of their selections.

Food is tasty as usual. Price still good as well. Little smaller portions, but with the cost of everything going up... it's acceptable. Still my favorite Chinese fast food place even after about 37 years.
