Metro Wine Bar & Bistro

We went here for my attorneys Christmas party. Everything was great except the Creme Brulee. I politely pulled the server to the side and told him the topping was burnt. He told me that it's supposed to be that way. I graduated from culinary school and have worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years. I 100% know the difference between a burnt and proper Creme Brulee. All I was trying to do was to inform him so he could say something to the back of the house so there weren't complaints. Yet I was told that's the way it's supposed to be. The server handled the situation very poorly, and if I wasn't a professional chef, I would've been very pissed that he tried to correct me vs. taking constructive criticism of a burnt dessert. Regardless of how long a business had been open, a restaurant should always welcome constructive criticism because you never know who's dining at your restaurant.

We were a group of 11 that came here last year from Kansas City for a tennis tournament. We loved it so much that everyone wanted to return this year. Jim was our server and he was very knowledgeable and patient with our group.Jim was wonderful. The food was great! The wine did not disappoint! The kicker was when I left my credit card there, I called and spoke to Eric the GM/Owner and he personally came to our hotel and brought it to me after he was done working. That is the best service I have ever received from any restaurant. I have owned a restaurant for 40 years. And, Eric taught me a lesson in hospitality! Well done Eric and the fabulous Metro Wine Bar & Bistro!!

DRIVE - From anywhere to come here! This isn’t a stop or a detour, it’s a destination for foodies. Service and quality are second to none! Our server tonight is Trevor, he’s been here 20 years and is ultra-knowledgeable and friendly…No pretentiousness or pressure. Every single item is decadent, perfectly designed and executed. It’s uncommon that an ownership pays attention to all details, but obviously after 30 years, they’ve nailed it. Hats off to the management for a business well done. If OKC was Michelin rated, this place would surely be listed.

Came here twice last year and would eat here everyday if I could! I ordered new things I haven’t tried before off the menu and everything was incredible. I think I could pick off the menu with my eyes closed and still enjoy whatever they serve.. the food is just such high quality and the flavors of each dish compliment each other. Not to mention, the service is always wonderful and friendly. Dreaming of my next meal here!

We were in Oklahoma City on business for the day and we stopped by this restaurant after a Google search. We had made a booking for a later time but we were able to be seated earlier which was great as the restaurant filled up quickly. We had the pear and blue cheese salad which was ver tasty then followed by crab cakes. It was a wonderful lunch in a lovely setting.

Lovely dinner! I just love the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and top notch service. I started with the soup special which was mushroom soup. It wasn’t from a can and it was delicious. For my entree, I enjoyed the Red Snapper dinner special and the chef had no problem leaving off the fennel for me. For dessert hubby and I shared the dessert trio (cream brûlée, chocolate cake and berry sorbet) and it was the perfect size.

Incredible food and amazing service! I'm not really into wine, but if I were, this would be the place to go. The food is absolutely incredible, both in presentation and in taste. The service it wonderful as well. Refills before your glass is empty every time. This is the perfect spot for a fancy date night and I'd highly recommend it. Also, the lemon white chocolate cheesecake is the best cheesecake I've ever had, and I've had a lot.
