With an old diner vibe, this spot is spacious with two dining spaces. We heard much about the breakfast but only made it in during lunch hour. Nevertheless, our Catfish sandwich, Club sandwich and Rancher burger were all on point. They each come with fries, which were crunchy and satisfying. The friendliness of the staff made our brief dining experience a joy.

The catfish sandwich is what you want it to be. Nice piece of fried catfish dressed with fresh veggies and mayo and topped with a hush puppy.
I ordered beans as my side. These beans are something I could at as a meal with a cornbread. So good.
The decor of photos, hub caps and airplane memorabilia are a nod to the part of town it's located.

Great restaurant.. really liked the place. Had the chicken fried steak called the rancher.. it was good.. not just all breading like most places. Was tender and not full of grisly pieces.. also had the Nashville chicken it was not to hot. But still had some spice with it. Both were great.. service was good and they are friendly there. The prices where not bad either.. will definitely be going back there

I have been wanting to try grill on the hill for many years and have never had the opportunity until yesterday. This place is awesome! The nostalgic atmosphere is really great. The entire restaurant is covered in OKC memories. Now onto the food which was also amazing! We were both happy with our meals and will definitely return if we are in the area.

Had a great breakfast and a great waitress. Andrea was a dream. Food was really good, I had the 2 eggs platter and my friends had the garden breakfast wraps. After asking what a BONUT was, we decided to get some for the road. I took a bit and they are delighted. If I was staying in the area, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I had the taco salad and it was surprisingly great. The meat had alot of flavor, which was unexpected.The waitress was really friendly and polite and really made it a fun experience. We're definitely going back...I have to try the chicken fried steak 🤤 it looks so good

Amazing food and incredible service. Our waitress (Marty/Mardie) was the sweetest person ever. We had the chicken strip basket and Cuban sandwich. Absolutely delectable! Wish we lived closer so we could come back more often.

I stopped in to grab a quick bite. Visiting from out of state. I had the oatmeal but didn’t like it. The container it’s in wasn’t to go friendly. While I appreciate the quantity, I wasn’t able to mix the fruit in it due to it being full to the brim with oatmeal.
The fruit overall for the oatmeal was fresh.

Clean open space, good food, and friendly service. Lots of historic photos of the area and memorabilia hanging on the walls. Great place for breakfast or lunch. Ask for the Cuban sandwich to be more toasted. We will be back.

Our waitress Stevie was fantastic. The food was delicious & actually looked exactly like the menu. The best breakfast place in the Edmond/OKC area.
My son ordered the catfish sandwich and loved it! My daughter ordered the Mushroom Burger and loved it as well!

I have ate at G on the H numerous times with my co-workers. It is a cool little old restaurant in Capital Hill. My buddies usually get cat fish or a Memphis burger. They always rave about the Memphis burger being juicy and the gravy being good. I get the Bacon cheeseburger for lunch. The patty has good flavor and the bacon is crispy. If you are really hungry. You can add the atomic tots to the order. They are great and come as a huge mound of Tator tots with Jalapenos, Cheese, and Chili. I haven't had the chance to go in for breakfast yet. But I can wait to try it!If you are looking for a family owned burger, with a friendly staff. This is the place on the South side of OKC.

I ordered the pulled pork tacos. My sides were green beans and mash potatoes with brown gravy. Not bad at all. Nice and hot because everything was freshly cooked. I normally only eat here on Thursdays because their grilled catfish is to die for!!!

Had breakfast here with my husband and the service was excellent! We got our food fast and drinks were refilled often. I had the chorizo omelet with fried potatoes and a pancake. It was good, but the chorizo looked/tasted a little different than what I'm used too. Over all good food and a great price I am looking forward to going back for lunch.

Has a super cool vintage atmosphere--my parents grew up In that area so I love seeing pictures of the old buildings and such. Very clean--I would eat there EVERY DAY if I worked or lived closer to it. Anyone who has yet to try it and check it out--do so!

Overpriced low quality food. The service is bad. The "servers" are more interested in themselves and their phones than they are anything of any customer they may have. The food is way overpriced and is very low quality. I was lied to and told everything is homemade. Their biscuits are frozen their meats are frozen pancake mix comes out of a bag they precook their hamburger patties for hamburgers. They sneak extra charges into your bill. They nickle and dime you with everything. Everybody's food at the table comes out at a different time. When the last person finally gets their food the person who got their food first is already done eating. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. If the dining room is this dirty I can only imagine how filthy the kitchen is. This place had great service and ok food about a year ago but now it doesn't even resemble the same place.

Great Find. I work in this area of town and am glad I found this place. The food here is home style cooking that is consistently delicious and served quickly. The owners and staff are friendly and know most of their customers by name.

My coworkers and I have visited Grill on the hill at least 2-3 times a week or more for almost 2 yrs. I must say the owner has poor management skills at the very least. I have been called "girl, gal" ,and loud talked after paying for meal the owner says "the I didn't charge u for a drink so you owe me" I reached into my purse for two dollars and told her keep the change. And didnt address this issue.<br/> But darn it the last straw was that we ordered in advance the same order as always. I ended up one order short, asked someone abt the order, who never followed thru, waited another 10 min or more for the order , she drops off the plate , and leaves then comes back to say , Oh you owe $1, cause I didn't charge you.<br/> Wth????? Again??? I asked for the mgr , the waitress says , " I told her and she's too busy, she's on the register!" Needless to says I'm crossed eyed. The mgr finally came, again loud talked, didn't listen and went into defense mode. <br/>Word to the wise when it's YOUR ERROR OR YOUR EMPLOYEES SUCK IT UP, TAKE OWNER SHIP, AND DONT ARGUE WITH THE CUSTOMER!!! It's been over a month still mad and WILL NEVER GOBACK.

Can't beat it.. I eat here at least twice a week. I like everything but their salad dressings. The burgers are outstanding, the meatloaf is great, but the fried chicken tenders are awesome. If you haven't tried it, you have no idea what you are missing.

Hard to choose which is best..... Everything I've had at this place is wonderful! Their steak sandwhich is made with a steak that is a real piece of steak, not something pounded to the point of oblivion. The breading is just the right thickness to let the steak sing. The fries are hand cut and truly some of the best in town! The catfish is so good, don't think you could find better around here. The pieces are very large and one is definitely enough to fill you up. Another of my favorites is the fish tacos, so good, fresh and tasty! I want to go with folks who will share, so I can taste of all my favorites, but no one will share, it is so good. Love, love, love this place!

This says it all: Memphis Burger!. When you are really hungry, the best solution in OKC is the Memphis Burger at The Grill on the Hill. Two quarter-pound beef patties open-face on a bun, smothered in french fries cheese, and brown gravy - wow! It takes a real man to finish the double. They also now have a single version. Everything else I've ever had there is great, too! Great job, y'all!

Burgers and fries and cherrry pies. Actually, I've never had cherry pie at the grill, but the burgers and fries are super.. Catfish is to die for, the stuffed baked potatoes are a meal in themselves, suffice to say, I get there for lunch as often as possible and have never had a bad meal or bad service.

Great!!!!. Me and my boyfriend went and was ALL good . He had the spicy catfish and I had a hambuger with bacon with fries. I love mine cause you could tell that there was bacon on it!!!! Great....But. I have dined 4 times here and the catfish (regular and cajun) is to die for. What they need to learn is how to cook the side without burning them.<br/><br/>Okra, Potatoes & Onions are scorched/burnt/overcooked every time. On my next visit I am going to require the sides be cooked from fresh and not what is in the warming dish.<br/><br/>I have advised the staff of this failure every time.

Apple Cinnamon Fritters. I enjoyed breakfast here this morning, great ambiance, loved all the old pictures of OKC, very clean, as friendly a place as you will find. My waitress went the extra mile even down to asking exactly how I wanted my eggs cooked ( over easy white set ) this is something seldom seen these days! They bring out a complimentary apple cinnamon fritter that is the best fritter I've had, the coffee is $1.69 and is in a large cup that is kept full of delicious coffee. I had the pancake platter which comes with two fluffy and great tasting pancakes two eggs and your choice of one sausage patty or two strips of bacon,this <br/>was the only shortcoming, it would have been better with two sausage patties, I will go back for lunch to try a burger next, I'm betting it will be just as good as the breakfast. I believe they said they had been opened nineteen months, it is a great addition to a great part of OKC !!
