Back Door BBQ is hidden among the 23rd street store fronts. It has a cool atmosphere and the staff is friendly. My latest visit I ordered the special with burnt ends and black-peppered beef sausage. The burnt ends were large and delicious. House made sides are great and I enjoy trying different ones each time. Don’t worry about parking because as the name implies use the back door that connects to the parking lot in back.

Delicious BBQ! Smelled amazing from the moment I opened the door! Lots of options for entrees and sides. Came 40min before closing and the food still tasted fresh and tender!
Parking is as good as it is in the area lol. Got a few spots in the street then a parking lot near.
Staff was very friendly! Place was very homey!

A doctor I work with ordered from here and had it delivered postmates. I got the PB & J sandwich and it was AMAZING! The bottom bun was a bit soggy but that's to be expected. Everything about it was good. Great mix of flavors and the brioche bun was delicious. I had the fried onions and jalapenos as my side and those were fantastic as well! Definately going back here with my husband sometime! You definately only need to buy one sandwhich or meal if you have two people, their portions are huge and its super filling. Their sweet tea is okay and their lemonade is good but a little too sweet

I absolutely love this place, the menu isn't large but everything on it is tasty. My favorite is their PB&J sandwich! Pork, Beef, & Jalapeno sausage with a little coleslaw on top. They also have a nice variety of their own BBQ sauce flavors, my favorite is the Espresso. If you have a chance I recommend giving it a try.

The deviled eggs are ok.

I had the 3 rib dinner w/baked beans and sweet potato waffle fries, my wife had the bologna w/pork skins and sausage. This is the best BBQ in OKC! My ribs were a generous portion and the meat was very tender and had that great BBQ flavor. They have 6 flavors of their own BBQ sauce in which to choose. Great atmosphere, no waiting, and fast friendly service with a smile.

This is by far my favorite BBQ place in OKC! It has a fun down home atmosphere, the staff is always friendly, and the food is amazing! My family's favorites are the ribs, brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, and the smoked bologna. Pork rinds are fried fresh to order and the fried pickle okra makes my tummy happy!!! The "Grandaddy" platter has a little bit of everything if you are looking to try everything...oh and it feeds a family of three easily!

I'm not a fan of these little fried okra pods being battered and fried whole but I guess different strokes for different folks but the bbq was very good. I think the table is a little small for all of the different sauces they offer but I really like the red dirt decor here, definitely Oklahoma!

Fast and delicious! Pulled pork sandwich with pickles and onions, mac n cheese, and a single rib. Ordered in the evening and the food was ready within 10 minutes easily. The interior fits the BBQ theme and is very clean.

My husband and I stopped.by here for lunch on vacation while on our way from Pawhuska, OK to Dallas, TX.
Loved the vibe of the restaurant and decorations. Warm woods and western decor. We were greeted by the cashier who handed us a menu to order from and helped answer our menu questions. We.ordred the Okie and Hot Mess burgers with sides of fries, mac n cheese and an extra side of potato salad. The burgers came out piping hot and fresh. The Hot mess burger I asked for the hot BBQ sauce on the side and they offered other BBQ sauces which I tried the sweet as well. Burgers were Delicious!!! All the sides were on point! Would highly recommend and will definitely make our way back here when we are on vacation in OK. Burgers are just a small portion of their menu. Huge variety of smoked meats including ribs, brsket, turkey, sausage and more. This BBQ joint is doing food right. Housemade, Fresh, Delicious and served with a smile!!!

Very good brisket sandwich. Note the sliced brisket doesn't come with sauce - chopped does though. And they have 6 different types of sauces so if you want to experiment the go with sliced. Fried okra is good, but different. It's pickled and fried so has a different flavor l than what you may be used to with fried okra. If you like trying new things it's great though. Brisket was some of the best I've ever had. They also give option of fatty or lean when you get sliced brisket. Fatty was recommended and great!

Superb place to bring visitors from Kyrgyz for real American barbecue. The meats were smoked to perfection. The sauces were well described, and I particularly liked the espresso. A great location close to the Capitol and the OKC National Memorial with plenty of parking nearby.
