Back Door Barbecue

My husband and I stopped.by here for lunch on vacation while on our way from Pawhuska, OK to Dallas, TX. Loved the vibe of the restaurant and decorations. Warm woods and western decor. We were greeted by the cashier who handed us a menu to order from and helped answer our menu questions. We.ordred the Okie and Hot Mess burgers with sides of fries, mac n cheese and an extra side of potato salad. The burgers came out piping hot and fresh. The Hot mess burger I asked for the hot BBQ sauce on the side and they offered other BBQ sauces which I tried the sweet as well. Burgers were Delicious!!! All the sides were on point! Would highly recommend and will definitely make our way back here when we are on vacation in OK. Burgers are just a small portion of their menu. Huge variety of smoked meats including ribs, brsket, turkey, sausage and more. This BBQ joint is doing food right. Housemade, Fresh, Delicious and served with a smile!!!

Back Door BBQ is hidden among the 23rd street store fronts. It has a cool atmosphere and the staff is friendly. My latest visit I ordered the special with burnt ends and black-peppered beef sausage. The burnt ends were large and delicious. House made sides are great and I enjoy trying different ones each time. Don’t worry about parking because as the name implies use the back door that connects to the parking lot in back.

Delicious BBQ! Smelled amazing from the moment I opened the door! Lots of options for entrees and sides. Came 40min before closing and the food still tasted fresh and tender! Parking is as good as it is in the area lol. Got a few spots in the street then a parking lot near. Staff was very friendly! Place was very homey!
