The atmosphere has a funky, cool vibe. We were seated quickly and had our drinks delivered very fast. The sweet tea was just right. And our server kept them full. We ordered the chicken and waffles and they did not disappoint. The plate has a large waffle and four large pieces of crispy and tasty friend chicken. The service, food and pricing were all excellent. I will return there the next time I am in the area. Well done!
I would drive to OKC now to have another bite of that chicken. The green beans are fresh and crunchy, with just the right proportion of onions, and touch of bacon. Mashed potatoes fluffy, buttery, perfectly salted. And I can't adequately describe the wondrous fried okra. The drum motif invites good times.
It’s been over 5 years since I’ve been back here. The last time we had a bad experience. However this time was totally different! The staff member Rudy was very nice; professional and treated us with so much respect. The food and cocktails were delicious as well. I’ll definitely be going back.
Food and service were amazing. At first glance we were pretty skeptical. When walking in it resembles a regular bar....which for the most part it is. Food was absolutely outstanding tho. Wings were a tad salty, but were some of the better wings over ever had. They give great portions and were extremely friendly. Would 100% go back
HALAL! The whole menu is Halal. The chicken is as amazing as always! Everyone needs to hit this spot. It’s great food and great place. I would definitely recommend 10/10. The chicken is so juicy and tender. You don’t have to go out of the city to have the best fried chicken.

For my birthday celebration, I ventured to this delightful establishment and indulged in their wonderful fried chicken accompanied by a side of fried okra. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary, as the flavors danced harmoniously on my palate. In fact, I dare say that this establishment's rendition of fried chicken and okra rivals that of the renowned Eischen's in Okarche, OK. The delectable steak fries proved a culinary triumph, captivating even the most discerning palates. Surprisingly, my son, who typically shuns such fare, succumbed to their irresistible allure, consuming them with unparalleled gusto. The dining experience was exceptional, with one minor oversight - the absence of a designated drink driver so I could indulge in the tantalizing array of exquisite cocktails.
This place literally has the best fried chicken I’ve tried at a restaurant. Me and my wife were able to share the whole chicken with okra and fries. There okra is huge and delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone, unless you want a drink, for some reason they do not have their liquor license right now. I will be getting the chicken fried chicken next time with a half chicken to go. They were also kind enough to allow coupons from their previous owner, which goes a long ways in showing that you care for your customers. Keep up the good work guys and gals!
We tried to go to a nearby restaurant but the karaoke was too loud to carry a conversation. So we walked to the Drumroom. There was one other table seated so it was perfect for visiting with our having to yell. Our table had the burgers, chicken tenders, fried chicken, Okra, waffles and mashed potatoes. The burgers did not have bacon when we pointed it out we were told they ran out, sorry lost a star. Te cook should have made the server aware so we would have know before making that choice. I had the chicken and waffles and was 100% satisfied. The food was all cooked fresh and came out hot. I don’t mind waiting for fresh food. I did not hear any complaints about the food from my friends. Our server Stephanie did a wonderful job of keeping our glasses full and brought the food out as soon as it was ready. I am sorry to say I was in a hurry to dig in so I did not take good photos which is unusual for me.
The new owners were very friendly making us feel very welcomed. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes with white gravy, biscuit and fried okra were EXCELLENT! The fried chicken tasted as though the new owners kept the same recipe.. yum! 😋 We will certainly return and will tell our friends..DRUM ROOM IS A MUST TRY!
Great little place for fried chicken. The staff was awesome. The gentleman serving us accidently made my old fashion with a salt syrup instead of simple syrup. One sip and "wow!" lol. He profusely apologized and corrected the issue. on the house. Everyone makes a mistake every now and then. We had a good laugh. The food was awesome, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Oklahoma City.
This place always treats us right. The food can take a while to come out and it's always sizzling hot, so be sure to add in some time for your order to arrive and cool down. Overall a great little spot. Go early if you want to find an easy parking spot.
Come to OKC every few months for business. Always looking for really good places to eat. Can add The Drum Room to my list. Fried pickle spears - excellent. Chicken was really good. Crispy, juicy, and hot (temp). Burned the roof of my mouth, which sucks, but good. Waffle was light and not overly sweet. Went on a Wed night so not busy at all. Great place.
