This restaurant is incredible. The service, the food, the ambience, the atmosphere, and the view of the tree line is awesome. I sat at the bar area with the open view of the kitchen. The fresh quality of the food and ingredients makes it worth the premium price. Family owned and operated can't be beat. I had the meatloaf the other night. By far the best Italian food I've ever had in my life!!! Man!!! Yum!!!!
My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Gabriella's and it was nothing short of perfection. Our first visit and we wanted to try a few dishes so we went for the Chicken Marsala, a custom pizza, Mike's sausages, the lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken and the Italian Wedding Cake which omgosh- Phenomenal!!!
Everything was perfectly flavored and fresh. Our server Briona was so sweet and helpful and we cannot wait to come back! Best Italian I have had in Oklahoma.
Thank you!
I ordered the Bolognese Pappardelle - which supposedly is comprised of veal, pork, and beef. The meat sauce didn't really taste all that special at all. If I didn't know, I'd probably just think it's shreds of some leftover meat. They could've emphasized how there were 3 kinds of it better. The pappardelle was cooked right - to the bite, so I'll give them that. I had to drown my pasta in salt & pepper, parmesan, and chili flakes though bc it really wasn't that rich or flavorful. I then got the Apple Fritte for dessert which was really good. I love how the apples were sliced so that u can actually feel their texture and really get their true taste that wasn't covered up. I also really loved the way they plated it beautifully. I just think that whole chunk of rosemary could've been lessened. The coconut gelato that came with it was spot on. My friend got the zeppoles, which are Italian donuts. They were served with Nutella and a Strawberry compote from what I can remember. I tried some with a mix of both the compote and Nutella and it was just really amazing. The desserts were very filling and delicious. Service was good as well, they were very welcoming and friendly.
I can’t say enough about this place . It just brings me back to my northern NJ roots . The food is excellent and the atmosphere is my favorite. I’ll be back many more times
It’s my favorite restaurant in okc and the best steak I️ had anywhere on earth. The mussel soup is a treat, the beer selection is great and everything else I’ve had there has been the best!
Phenomenal dinner! Ribeye was huge and absolutely amazing! Toasted ravioli was fabulous as well as the calamari, pizza, chicken Parm and Italian Wedding Cake
Food was fabulous! Service was great. My only complaint is pricing. This isn't a place you go to dinner often, it's more of a destination or occasion type. Pricing might be a little understandable considering they claim to make everything from scratch, but the food wasn't so unbelievable that it's worth paying THAT much more than what you would spend at Zios or Olive Garden. Would go back for special occasion.
Loved the Italian sausage and peppers Classico!!! Their bruschetta is excellent as well. Relaxed atmosphere so don't be in a hurry. Will definitely return.
OMG the best Italian place to eat!! It is a little pricey but it is well WORTH IT. My fiancee and I came here for our 4th Anniversary and we loved it! I wish we didn't have to wait long but we understood. I would definitely tell my friends if they want to go somewhere romantic and mouth watering foods then Gabriella's is the place to be! Awesome job Ms Vicki and to the entire staff for such an amazing experience
I have been two times recently with family and friends. They _always_ treat me wonderfully and the food is spectacular. Nancy waited on us one time and newer waiter the other time (Chris / Larry / Ryan). We had calamari one time and the Scarpariello wings the next time. The wings were a bit messy for me, but lacked nothing to taste and flavor. My favorite entrees are Chicken Parmigiana / Marsala or a pizza. The former visit was Chicken Parmigiana (though the veal is decadent, too), but the later visit was Tuscan Pork Chop w/ Cannellini beans. WOW! The pork chop was ... it is making my mouth water right now. I'll be hard pressed not to order it again. Both times we had a Chianti Reserve wine. It is a pretty good wine for the price. Also, started out with a round of Kwak beer in its odd funnel glass. Thanks always to Chef Vicki, Dwayne, Oscar, Shana and the whole staff. You all do a wonderful job at hosting my friends, family and me.
We ate here last Friday for my birthday, along with another couple. It was wonderful; food and wine was delicious and service was excellent. Our server was named Larry and he was very helpful in wine selection and food suggestions. We loved the history of the restaurant and the Italian grocery store inside for some items to take home. We have told everyone how wonderful of a time we had and how great the food is. We will definitely be going back, the sooner the better.
April
Four of us had an early supper at Gabriella's after visiting the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Remy took very good care of us during the meal. Food was excellent. If you go, better be hungry. The portions are not skimpy. The shrimp had plenty of garlic and just the right bite. Ten out of ten in our opinion.
We made a reservation and I'm so glad we did, there was a line of people waiting with a constant flow of more coming in. We got the steak for two, in the photos you can see it was tons of food! Dakota was our server, great service! He offered recommendations, very attentive, just rounded out our visit. 10 out of 10 recommendation. If you know Pete's place, they blow them out of the water. Their steak rivaled Cattleman's.... I could go on and on. Wonderful.
Outstanding food, I haven’t had the pleasure of dining in yet but my take out experiences were fast and easy.
The restaurant is well kept with an comfortable outdoor patio, you also have the option of picking up curbside.
So far we have tried the the pizza, bucatini festival pasta, and the spinach Arugula salad (out of this world, it will impress any salad lover🤤)
The Cannoli’s were good, but the Apple Fritter was AMAZING. Crisp to perfection with vanilla ice cream, it is truly the best apple fritter I have ever had.
Reservation are recommended, we didn’t have one but was seated at the Chef’s Table. That was perfect for us to see kitchen operations, cleanliness, and all the good food going out. Everything was delicious 🤤 we had pizza, lasagna, chicken Alfredo and cheesecake. Service was fast.
YUM! I enjoyed a great Italian family dinner here this week. We had the Coal Miners Daughter, Gnocchi with Italian Sausage, and a Mediterranean pizza.
The food was fantastic and our server was friendly. Bar service was a little slow. I only saw one bartender working on a busy Thursday night so this may depend on staffing. The kitchen also does NOT allow substitutions. I asked to switch a topping on my pizza but was refused so I ended up building my own (almost the same as the Mediterranean).
All in all, this is a great Italian spot in Edmond. The perfect place to stop in for a cozy hearty meal!
We ate here on recommendation and were not disappointed.
The food was excellent all around and came in huge portions (we also had lunch the next day)! The crab cocktail fingers were the highlight of my night (only because I don't eat seafood as much as I'd like). I also had the Roma pasta with an order of meatballs, which was rich and well cooked. My wife had the calamari and eggplant parmigiana. Lastly, the house dipping sauce for the bread is excellent and very unique. The only criticism I had for food is that the marinara served with the calamari is very savory, so I did not think it complemented the savory calamari well. I would have rather had a citrusy white sauce to go with it.
Service was a little slow, but they were busy and the dining area is terribly laid out. They are moving to another location, so I am hoping that this improves, and I'm not knocking them for it. I also wish that the lighting was a little brighter and more even. The dining room was not too loud and easy to speak at normal levels.
Our waiter was very personable and knowledgeable on their food.
The food may seem a little pricey, but it is excellent quality and I doubt you'd be disappointed in it.
Overall, this place reminded my wife and I of Italy and we can't wait to try the new location!
There at 4:00pm when opening. Not busy. Allowed use to pick our seating. First time visit Food was great. Margarite was splendid. Will be back when we visit Edmond.
Dakota took super good care of us! He was a marvelous server!! The food was incredible. I was so sad I couldn’t eat more. 🤣 my only concern was that it was special occasion and when my husband made the reservation, he said to make it special. We were stuck next to a party of 8 with children. Hard to be romantic. 🤣🤣 otherwise, we had a wonderful experience!
Excellent food, Excellent service all around always great especially if you want authentic Italian in Oklahoma, if you can I would request Carmine great waiter and super knowledgeable about the food, sitting at the bar is also great watching them cook, always great would recommend to anyone.
We had the BEST waiter ever! The gentleman took great care of us and made us feel like family. Our family of 4 had 4 different dishes. The shrimp dish that I had was a bit less than impressive. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of how watery the sauce was. For the $31 price tag, I expected much better. Now, I'm not saying it was bad at all, but I definitely won't get this dish the next time we go. I DO recommend Gabriella's, but not the dish I had. I can't remember the name of it.
Great experience! I had their Pappardelle pasta with pesto and chicken. It was excellent. Cocktails were well made. The atmosphere is cozy with walled off booths. We will definitely be going back!
