This place is so cute and they have live music some days. They serve 3 different kinds of ice cream and give free taste tests. I love all the options. The man that helped us was so kind, sweet, and helpful. They also sale a lot of different and some random things in the store, from candy and t-shirts to books and hand towels.

Soooo fun! We stumbled onto this community gem with a full ice cream bar, food, live music, and a variety of items for sale. It feels like a step back in time when people gathered and supported one another. Warren, the manager, helped us choose from the dozens of ice cream flavors, then visited our table several times to make sure we were taken care of. We love this place and will be back often

The atmosphere is very inviting, the music is great and fun to listen to. There are so many flavors of ice cream to choose from, so you will find what you need. Come support this local business! It's fun to walk around and see all of the unique and antique items they have posted around the business. Staff is super friendly and sociable. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tip the bands! They work hard to put on a good show here.

I only came here to watch a puppet show that the owners hosted, but I was blown away- this is an utterly fantastic business!! The ice cream is tasty and affordable, but more importantly the owners make an active effort to support the community which I hope continues to be an effective marketing strategy for them. They also have guest WiFi! I'll be a regular customer from here on out for sure 😊

This place is just great! The owners were so kind and treated my family and I like old friends right when we walked in the door. We came here on a Friday night and were able to eat some delicious soup (the French onion was sooo good!), sandwiches, hot dogs, a chili dog and of course, ice cream. In addition to food, Gandy Dancer also sells old-time toys and games, candy and other fun and unique gift ideas. The live music just added to the evening. It was terrific! The musician was playing his guitar and singing lots of different music, including Christmas songs. Overall we had a lot of fun at Gandy Dancer. My kids picked up books and read them (there’s lots to choose from!). My husband, myself and my mom spoke to Boni, one of the owners, for quite some time. She was so fun to talk with. Anyway, come here! You’ll love it! Thanks Gandy Dancer! We’ll definitely be seeing you again!
