The Crab Galley

Called in an order 3 hours in advance of pickup. Came at time of pickup and order was not ready for an additional 35 minutes. On top of that ordered oysters as part of my order and only one popped. When we popped the others they smelled like rancid fish. Definitely did not eat. Fried Shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. Asked for steamed shrimp to be steamed without old bay and old bay on side. Shrimp was doused in old bay during cook and received non on side. Rock fish was soggy. Have been customer for 10 years and will not be returning.

I went there today (4th of July) prior to opening put in an order for a bushel of crabs and was told to come back at 11:45 because they didn't start cooking until 11 am when they opened. I get there at 11:45 and was told to wait 10 more minutes because they were not ready. I go back in after 15 minutes paid my $295 and got the box. The box was warm and I called backed immediately was told that they could have been sitting and was probably ready when I arrived at 11:45. I get back home which is in DC only to have a bushel of refrigerated crabs. So disappointing! Old crabs and not given an option as to if I wanted to purchase them or not. Never again! All I can say is now is not the time for bad business. Word of mouth advertising is everything.

Do not order md blue cooked crabs from here. They served me bad crabs. TWICE . the first time I ignored it because majority of them was good. But the second time I reminded them about my last situation. I had to return the crabs and get a refund. They Issue refunds based on how many crabs u bring back. How about the inconvenience and bad order. Never going back.

Crab Galley crabs were fantastic, not over cooked, not dried out, they were hot and the box steamed up my truck windows. The crabs were seasoned very well I bought a bushel of the jumbo $500.00 the box was filled to the top and the crabs were fat and sweet. I will be back, Crab Galley can be your go to spot.

I went on Tuesday and purchased my usual Captain Adams Platter. Before I say anything further I have lived in Odenton for 25 years and have always enjoyed their food until recently. My platter was missing one side, 1 shrimp 1 Oyster, the fish portion was the smallest I have ever purchased and the crab cake was very different with no crab meat lumps period and the outer crust was thicker. It seemed to me to have been made to look bigger than it was and the meat was mushy and it didn't taste like the old crab cake. This has happened twice but the most recent purchase was the worse and my last time dealing with them and please consider the price is 10 dollars more now because of the so called crab shortage. So long crab galley!!!
