Here now on my solo as per usual eating lunch here and I just ordered the Crabby fries. The fries were a bit over cooked and the creamy crab meat was delicious. I didn’t return my order, I just sucked it up and ate it. I did purchase a double order of their Award Winning Wings,(Buffalo)to take home. In order to partake (eating)at this quaint hidden spot, one enters the side door(where the parking lot is)..this spot is behind (The Village At Odenton Station)and there is parking on the side of the road across from the establishment. When I entered the establishment; everyone was nice and welcoming. Calm and pleasing atmosphere. Smells great in here. There is a dessert area where you can purchase homemade ice cream and pies(before entering the dining) area in back. It is COVID-19 compliant. The staff sounds so wonderful with one another.

A coworker and I went for lunch. Definitely a hidden away. The food was okay where I'm not disappointed but I don't have to go back either. Zach was our waiter and was so great. He was able to give insight on what the spot was known for. We ordered appetizers and they cane out fairly quickly. Pictured is the brisket rolls, boneless chicken, basket of fries & the nachos basket. The nachos basket is made with waffle fries cooked well done to imitate the crunch of nachos so it took me for a loop.

Visiting from Florida and my granddaughter suggested The Hideaway for her birthday dinner. Wow! Great menu and delicious food. We had the crabby fries, Charlotte's homemade chicken pot pie, Brisket Reuben sandwich, and French Dip sandwich. The kids had mac and cheese and Caesar salad. Crazy kids. We also had for dessert: homemade brownie, bourbon pecan pie, key lime pie, as well as vanilla ice cream and bourbon pecan ice cream. Sad to say, we ate almost everything, it was that good. Definitely recommend and will return as soon as I'm back in Maryland.

First visit was great, looking forward to going back to this local neighborhood gem. Place has great atmosphere and character, you can tell they care about their food and have been there a long time which reinforces they must care about the quality. They are also very serious about their bourbon though I was there for lunch not a buzz. I got an order of chicken wings and they were great, cooked correctly with a good dry rub. The rub was a little too sweet for me, but they have a nice selection of barbecue sauces (pic) that I enjoyed trying. Cream of crab was great, I liked the corn in it. Brisket Reuben sandwich was fantastic but it was not served with and thousand Island dressing. I should have asked for some on the side.

Great friendly service. Loved the taste of the cornbread, but it was made too crispy for me. The bread and dip was my favorite. Super soft bread with a thin crispy outer layer.

Went here for a luncheon with some co-workers . My 1st time having it food was decent I’m from the South so my expectations on BBQ is pretty high ! A little expensive I got the ribs they fell off the bone but just didn’t have much meat on them honestly, I had to apply my own sauce as well . Also didn’t have a lunch option thats always good to have on the menu . Overall I will not be going back 1st and last time ! But I do suggest giving it a try if you don’t have any other BBQ spots in the area and give it a review of your own !

Hideaway is one of the best kept secret bbq places in MD. Their smoke fried dry rubbed hot wings are always juicy and flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The pulled pork sandwich is loaded with fresh meat on toasted and buttery buns. Even their non traditional bbq dishes are delicious, like the salmon and fries.

Came in with a large party on a Saturday night. The wait was long and I totally get that part, but we had came in and said we had a party of 10 and when we were called on, they had only set the table up for 8. The food is decent. My brisket reuben was kind of dry but still tasty.
