Cafe L' Amore

We have been huge fans of Cafe L'Amore since we moved to Oakland 6 years ago. What looks like a small pizza place from the outside, turns out to be a wonderful Italian restaurant! Their food is always freshly made, delicious and of the highest quality with great variety and specials. They provide a very broad menu with many choices in all categories - meat, chicken, fish, and vegetarian, all with wonderful combinations of sauces and flavors. We have also used them many times to provide catered food for family parties in our home. Michael and Marco are exceptional at helping you plan what you need and suggesting just the right combination of dishes for our guests. Coming from an Italian family, I can safely say that Cafe L'Amore is an excellent Italian restaurant and a real standout in this area.

This place is absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk in the door, delighted by the scent of the wood burning pizza oven, you know you are in store for a treat! The people who work here are the nicest you will find, and their dedication to quality shines through in their food. The menu selections are diverse, and no matter what you order, you will not be disappointed, but be sure to try some pizza from the brick oven and the HOMEMADE BREAD!! We have dined in, gotten take out, and hosted an event here and have never been disappointed!

Wonderful restaurant. I’ve dined at Cafe Lamour numerous times, for lunch and dinner. I’ve even ordered from the catering menu on holidays. The staff is warm and gracious. If your lucky, you might meet the owner Mark. Occasionally he comes out from the kitchen to say hello and ask how your enjoying your meal. Desserts are delightful, soups and entrees are delicious.

A1 experience they are the A1 experience I love Cafe l'amoura it's good for kids it's good for everybody also you could bring your wife husband aunts uncles grandparents they all us will enjoy it make sure you said like I said it's a A1 A-OK from 1:00 to 10:00 it's 9:00 enjoy what you like try the menu the menu has multi things has breakfast has brunch has lunch it has dinner try everything and like I said the hours are great Saturday morning there's a good crowd there also what try the eggs try the omelets try to French toast try to pancakes they have all types of fruits such as blackberry blueberry strawberries the crepes are good the coffee's good everything else is good so enjoy like I said it's a one okay I want to 10 it's a nine thanks a lot enjoy it and go there and Cafe Lamar is an awesome place so like I said it's a 81 okay 1 to 10 it's a night

We’ve been coming here since my in-laws lived in Oakland. It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve been by there. On my way back from JFK the GPS routed me down I-287 south and the restaurant is just off the exit ramp. Spur of the moment I decided to stop and grab a pizza for the car ride home. It was as good as I remembered it. The staff was very friendly.
