We tried Noah's Bagels for the first time as we were running late and got hungry and needed to get a quick bite before heading to our next appointment close to Lake Merritt. They have a great location on Lakeshore Ave. Store itself is ok and needs bit more cleaning and hygiene levels overall, but service was friendly, quick and bagels were quite yummy. We shared the chorizo, lox and simple ham and swiss (with fried egg) for our 4 year old. All three were delicious!

Great place to get a simple breakfast or hearty, complex and filling. Employees are very, very hard working. Excellent service! We love how the ladies call the names out for orders! They mean business! 😋 You can’t sit inside which is a major downer and the outside benches are dirty and the cement around outdoor tables smell like urine. Sad!

I got the Texas brisket, and let’s just say it looks better on the photos. I ordered this morning through doordash and I went to pick it up and when I got there, my order was already getting done so I thought it would still be hot and ready. Turns out my bagel was cold, it’s like it’s been sitting there and the bagel doesn’t seem fresh at all. The customer service is not good, no one acknowledges you when you walk in. I don’t care for this location

My boyfriend ordered with the mobile app, and it said the order would take 15-20 minutes. 30 minutes later he asked for an update on his order and they said “oh we didn’t make it because we didn’t have that kind of bagel right now.” So I guess their plan was to take his money, not tell him, and let him wait forever?

Shop said they were out of bagels by 11am and had to cancel my online order. Poor planning and forecasting.

I normally don’t write reviews but I was pretty disappointed with every aspect of our visit to this place. We ordered a sandwich for my son and asked for the egg to be omitted (which the lady at the register insisted was easy to do and assured us multiple times that she would ensure her coworker did not put the egg on the sandwich). Lo and behold when we got home and opened our food: egg on sandwich. Not only this, but the woman preparing food had her mask on her chin (mouth and nose uncovered) the entire time we were there, and her coworker in the back pulled her mask down to her chin to talk to her and never put it back. They also had 3 unmasked customers or maybe just friends of the employees hanging out in the stole the whole time even though there was clear signage that the restaurant was not open to indoor dining AND required masks. (Only one of the three was eating or sitting anyway, the others were just being there maskless). Very disappointed in safety protocols and attention to detail here, and will definitely not be returning.

I come in and buy a dozen bagels about every two weeks. The last three times, including today, I was given only 12, even though the register displayed "Bakers Dozen" as I was rung up. Feels like I'm paying for 13 and getting 12. I guess I'll have to speak up about it the next time, but I don't think I should have to. Otherwise the store is usually fine.

Noah's is a pretty solid place for a breakfast or even lunch - I really like their bagel sandwiches. Specifically, I go for the 'Farmhouse' with 2 eggs - a very hearty 3-cheese bagel sandwich with pepper smear, bacon, ham (which I sub out for turkey), and cheddar cheese. Check it out!
