Gregory's Gourmet Desserts

I always get German German Chocolate cake and Key Lime pie, those are 2 of my favorites. Today I tried the Apple Streusel Cheesecake and it was delicious. It was very smooth just the right texture. I'm not usually a big cheesecake eater but I will definitely try this again. Oh yeah and goes did I forget about the Red Velvet Cupcakes. The Red Velvet cake is also good and their cupcakes in general are quite tasty. They have the right ratio of icing to cake.

Come here for your cookie craving, you won't be disappointed! They are very fairly priced. The combinations of ingredients are not too 'typical'. They have a Dark Choc/Sea Salt/Almond cookie that's to die for, and it's not too sweet that your dentist will nag you over. In the picture is half doz of the forementioned, and half doz choc chip. TOTALLY worth it. They have a sign out front, but the bakery is in the basement. Don't pass this place up looking for a glass storefront. Look for steps leading down.

Wonderful desserts hand crafted right in the heart of Oakland. The brownies are beyond imagination. If your a chocoholic like me that's the only thing you need to grab. Welcoming spirit and kind staff await you at the gourmet hot spot. The eat it all up pound cake is great ( I would like more butter lol) however, the lemon cupcakes could use some cream cheese frosting, real lemon Instead of the sugar based frosting. Still the man is putting down the biz in Oakland and I'm so proud of him.

One word - YUMMY!!! Ok, we yelped for a dessert place after having lunch and this place came up. When we arrived, we realised what the deal was - this was no ordinary cafe - it wasn't a cafe!!! It's an amazing bakery!!! You buy and you take it to go. Lovely desserts - first come first serve so his best cobblers are gone by morning time and he shuts at 4. However, we didn't get sad, we bought a sweet potato carrot cake and a lemon cheesecake - both were delishhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and the guy is super friendly. Need my Gregory's fix ASAP!!!
